|
 |
Hi there,
I have a couple of large iso files (e.g. TOCA 2, Space Rangers 2, Sniper) but cannot burn them, NERO does start the burning, but completes it after a few seconds and the dvd is still empy and writable. According to the dvd, it should be able to hold 4.7gb, so there shouldn't be a problem - do I need a dual layer burner or is there another way of burning those iso files?
Thanks for the help!

So it's not the fact that I don't have a dual layer dvd burner?

Dez: I had the same problem some time ago, use UltraIso (program) and convert your image to any other format, then burn it and your problem is solved

Another question: If I want to copy a file larger than 4.3 GB to a cd (so not burning the image, but copying it to cd) what proggie can I use? Alcohol doesn't copy, it just burns the images right?
Thanks!

If you just want to put the image file onto a DVD (obviously a 4.3gb image won't fit on a CD unless you compress it and span it over multiple discs), just make a UDF data DVD with Nero and drag the image onto it.

You can't but you can rar-compress it or something and then split it up in 750mb pieces and burn on multiple CDs. You won't be able to use the file before you extract it from all the CDs again though.
