That my sound out of reality , there is a store I found that selling 3070s and 3080 at decent price, the catch is you will have to wait month or 2 for it to arrive but the store at least preserve the order for you till the stock arrives with the current price you paid.
I am considering to order the 3080 but there is a few phone calls and more checking I need to do before that.
Is 3080 and 5600x great combo for emulation?
It's top-of-the-line gaming performance, emulation or not
RPCS3 states it can use up to 8C (so 5800x), not sure what gains you get from a 6C CPU though
Does someone has benchmark articles/vidoes that shows the actual differences between 6-8 cores CPU on RPCS3?
XEMU basically achieved 55% playability, I am going to test it soon.
How is Splinter Cell Double Agent emulation? I want to replay the Xbox Montreal version of this so badly (had it on my OG Xbox) been waiting for almost 15 years now
The graphics are shit in the PS2 and Nintendo versions. They are missing all the bump mapping and shadow/light play which makes the game so good. Only Xbox version is the real deal. I'm so angry that Ubi never ported that version to PC. (we only got the inferior next-gen version)

Not yet You can easily check the compatibility list on XEMU site.
Maybe this will be the wake-up call kiwifarms needs to finally grow out of its shitty teenage years, or for authorities to gain an interest in them. That might be it, but what did it cost ?
What a fucking cesspool.
R5 5600X - 3070FE - 16GB DDR4 3600 - Asus B550 TUF Gaming Plus - BeQuiet Straight Power 11 750W - Pure Base 500DX
This is a massive performance upgrade everything i throw at the emu now runs at least fullspeed or better and i'm still on a 4790k.
Zelda, Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, are those running at full speed (well... locked 60fps) for you?
Games i tried:
Xenoblade DE 30 fps and around 50-60 with 60 fps patch.
Xenoblade 2 30 fps some stutter probably shaders, didn't find a 60 fps patch for my game version, audio was a bit asynchronous.
Fire Emblem 3H 30 fps around 40-60 fps with 60 fps patch (Monastery mostly battlefields always 60fps)
Zelda LA 60 fps always same for Mario Odyssey
Disgaea 6 60 fps and Bravely Default 2 30 fps.
Didn't encounter crashes or bugs so far but i didn't play most games very long. Shame there is no resolution scaling and their audio back end could really use some work since there is popping and other noises in some games.

Btw i hope everyone knows about https://pineappleea.github.io you can get yuzu EA builds there and they even have a handy update tool so no need to pay the patreon tax if you just want EA builds.
And before someone asks (yeah if ever ) yes it's completely fine to provide compiled EA builds the emulator is open source and according to GPL they are good as long as they provide source which they do. The yuzu devs just don't like it because of their precious patreon money, well obviously.
I just realized the Switch is basically the "PS2" of this gen in terms of number of games, tons of games, and we have decent emulation for it
But I guess the more hardcore games will be for Xbox Series X/S ,PS5 which emulation is far far from being realistic at this point, Even PS4 emulation on it's diper and doesn't run any games yet.

Yeah but there are almost no exclusives worth emulating on these systems so interest in working on them is obviously pretty low. We will probably see better PS4 emulation in a few years since there are allrdy a good amount of project's https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/PlayStation_4_emulators
And some like Spine even run some commercial games (nothing fancy just some 2d retro stuff and so on).
