Anyone who's into games should have Epic anyways. I guess i have around 50 free titles or whatever there now, some of them really great ones. And yes i know Sweeney isn't any better than Gabe, they're all scum, that's why they are rich
Understandable. I mean compared to exclusivity, yeah. However, this doesn't negate the option of releasing the game onto Epic for a year when it's done. That could still happen. And granted, it is an alpha. Definitely have waaaay too many games to work on atm.

no, they're all scum, like i said. if scum has to fight other scums over platforms it's good for the customer and it's good for the developer. The platforms / their owner is just an evil we have to get accustomed to, doesn't mean we have to like them.
Not surprised since the first releases of GalCiv are always very buggy, unbalanced.
If you're gonna play GalCiv maybe give III a shot, wait 4 or so years at least for this one.. GalCiv 3 was released 2015 btw it still had pretty major updates in the last year, i'm actually kind of excited to finally give it a proper shot.

Yea I need to give GalCiv 3 a proper playthrough now that they fully expanded it. GalCiv 4 you gotta wait 3-4 years to get the ultimate edition which will contain most of the DLC's heh.
this is some weird shit ... they launched from early access on epig year ago and now they are releasing "Improved version with new content" as early access on Steam
