yeah sometimes it's really ridiculous, even if i'm "hardcore anti-woke" its easy to see how some of these youtubers really thinks the entire world revolves around them and this topic.. It's not that interesting. They will easily discuss Jack's take here for around 5-10h on their platforms, which is just waaaay too much for what it is, it's really cringe. Its just as bad as SJW's bitching about people being nazis for not liking The Last Jedi.'
i don't understand how these celebs can spend whole days on twitter... they must be so lonely and bored. hell, some of them will die in front of twitter, while doing some angry tweet
To me this is equal to a rich and famous guy standing all day at the hot dog stand, picking fights, arguing with hobo low-life degenerates. Like he doesn't know any better, that there are better places where people like him can be and have actual intelligent discussions.
Twitter would be the LAST thing on my mind if i was a rich guy, fuck there's so much cool stuff you can do if you have money.
He trolls on Twitter as well.
Pushes his charities on Twitter.
Promotes his charity auctions on Twitter.
Bickering isn't all that he does.
He has reach, and it seems fruitful for his charities so that's good. Twitter isn't all that bad. It has its toxicity, but if you ignore it and try to avoid it, it is a great social platform.
I'm sure if Mike and rich were to contact shatners agent, or even his publicist, they'd get some sort of answer, and maybe even a positive response, its just that the rlm name has been soured in shatners mouth that even the mention of it gives him faux ptsd. it would be great to have Mike and rich sit down with shatner for a few episodes and just talk TOS. Shatner doesn't care about lore though, so it would be mostly production stories.
Oh wow, that's some nostalgic stuff. The first couple minutes I was like "this looks kinda familiar", then I sort of recognised that life-sucking machine, and then I went complete pointy-Leo at the pirate-boat-train.

You're defending a movie by a guy who puts a lot of attention to detail and missed a dead pixel.
Those fuckers are easy to fix when noticed. You paint over them in post. It is tedious and can be done during vfx. You can automate it to fill in based on pixel to the left or right. Then add vfx to cover it.
Though I haven't noticed it on my bedroom TV when I watched it.

Revisited AVP1 the other day looking for any sci-fi i hadn't seen or remembered. It's a better movie than I thought, i was so disappointed at the time my brain just rejected any memory of it. Now I'm older and have less expectations from movies the sets, pacing, and visual effects (as they focused work on practical effects, models and set pieces over cgi) look good for a schlock movie 2004, I reckon its in top 3 Paul W.S Anderson's movies.
