Thank god! been waiting for this so long. I just hope there will be no dissapointments, and it will be as good as Morrowind.

No Starforce? That's good....very good.

I'll probably download it to see how it performs on my system. Then I can compare it to the 360 version.

That's what I usually do. However with clones you don't need to do anything just pop in the CD and change the cd key Very Happy

As is if anyone with the knowledge and capability is NOT going to download this game and wait to play it if a scene release becomes available before it hits the shelves. I know I will!

I will also be dloading it to see if it runs on my rig. Will buy if I am pleased with the optimization. I read some disturbing things today on Voodoo Extremes site about the XSUX360 version. I am praying that this disease doesn't infect the PC version.

What are you talking about? This is all I got from their hands-on preview about performance:-

Quote:
Graphics look like they're still being optimized. The rig they set me up on was a powerhouse--a Dell 3.4GHz packed with an ATI X1900 512MB card. The video settings were set at a modest 1280x768 and anti-aliasing was turned off. There were some occasional stutters, and I could (albeit on rare occasions) see some stitching lines between textures. Performance seemed pretty similar for this machine as it was for the Xbox 360s running Oblivion on the other side of the room.

Seems to me that you'll need a monster machine to get it running and looking nicely if they got slowdown on a X1900 3.2GHz. Either that or a 360. Razz

Holy cow! I saw this gold on bluesnews. I thought we had a ways to wait still. Judging from all the rather 'staged' screen shots we've seen and no GUIs or anything. Wow... damn.. well there goes my productivity down the drain. Course thats if this game actually has more then just eye candy. Morrowind's fighting engine just..sucked. I could never figure it out and I'm a major player of online rpg's and final fantasy games.

Well maybe on 1280x1024 with settings maxed and no AA would give you acceptable performance. Smile

I can't wait anyone now I know it's gold !

But like a lot here, i'm scary with my graphic card :S

I just read a preview from the gold version on a french website, and it seems to be greater than morrowind !!!

They said about the specs :

The computer of this preview was a little bomb (Athlon FX55, 2 Go, ATI X1900 XT) and the fludity is perfect in 1280x1024 with all the graphical options actived. (FSAA 4x, HDR...)."

Perhaps we had a chance to get a leaked version of this preview before the release date ? I'll buy it for sure, it it works on my videocard !

Or please bethesda, give us a demo !!!!!

instead of 50,000 'omg will it runz on my comp LOL!?!?!!' posts, just wait until it gets released and try running it. If you dont want to wait, goto the elder scrolls forum and there's a very detailed list of req's and what will and wont work

here: http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=250225

Listen to immylatus.

The TES series has a huge fanbase and a very good mod- and tweak-community so within weeks after the release we will see fixes, tweaks and whatnot if the game isnt running quite as well as some would hope.
