Another take on speed of light is that is the fastest the invisible light elfs can run carrying photons...if we are just making shit up that uses things we humans invented as a basis.
What about the speed of sound then? Is that because sound takes exponentially more processing power than light? So is exponentially slower?
Just because you can correlate it to something familiar to you, does not in anyway indicate it actually runs on a similar premise.
