Finished S2. About the same quality as S1. Very few celeb cameos, and to be honest, only Hamill left any lasting impression on that front. But that's hardly surprising, if they let Mark ham it up, he hams it the fuck up.
Wonder where they'll take Guillermo from here, I kinda suspect his dreams of becoming a vampire is kinda dead at this point.

First season was absolutely brilliant. So brilliant in fact that i watched the whole season in one go. Second they keep injecting these SJW terms out of nowhere. They dont seem to changing the show much, just certain things. Nandor is toxic masculine,, jeff is a wimp, Nadja is a slut of mountainous proportions which is fine of course, since she's female. Where do they want men to be? either its toxic masculine or a wimp I wouldnt think twice about Jeff as he's been a running joke, but when they insert these terms it kinda changes things.
Such a shame they couldn't help themselves and couldnt just continue the series like the first season. I'll keep watching it as long as they dont go overboard.

“What We Do in the Shadows” has been renewed for Season 4 at FX. Season 4 is slated to debut in 2022.
The news comes ahead of the debut of the show’s third season, which premieres on Sept. 2. The first two episodes of Season 3 will drop that day and be available to stream on FX on Hulu the following day.

They're..different and at the same time very much alike when it comes to the type of humour and directing style. If you enjoyed the movie there's a 98,7% chance you'll thoroughly enjoy this one too

Movie was tight. This is loose. Episodic. And more fun, they love exploring the comedy/jokes and they land 99% of the time. Has the same heart and feel as the movie. A bit more crass cause of the actors/characters used. Matt berry is Matt berry with a cape. Everyone else is phenomenal.

Gf and I recently watched the movie again, and we both found it surprisingly lame and pretty unfunny too, coming from the tv-show.
I remember liking it a lot more when I first saw it, but the show is just a lot better.
Plus, it has Matt Berry. I'd even watch him reading a phonebook
S4 came around really fast, can't wait! S3 was the best one yet, I think.
