Quick question (since I don't wanna have to re-download it again to check), but have they fixed the control binding issues? Mainly, being able to rebind sub actions properly - like when crouched grab / use / grab'n'kill etc, or are they still hardbound to certain defaults?
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Okay guys, i played the game when it came out and stopped after a hour because bugs and performance fucked the experience.
Now i started again with 1.3 because new hardware and the tech is nice and looks great but i cant stand those fucking non immersive npcs, they spawn in areas where they shoudnt and behave like absolute morons which totally ruins the game for me.
There are still floating cars and other collision glitches, so awful i need to put it aside again and wait for v2 or v3.
Aslong as they dont change some behaviours and mechanics ingame, this will be just a buggy game like all the others we have seen in the past years. What a shame
Devs still want to poull off a No Mans sky, but with this pace its taking too long. I mean people allready forgetting it since 2 or 3 months after release.
Also here is some Info regarding recoding major parts of the game and looks like Multi isnt from the table yet.
It's the whole world lacking cohesion. Chaotic fragments of color and forms splashed everywhere, randomly, without any continuity or sense.
Something is very off in the design of this 'world'. It can't make feel that I am there, immersed. Like Amnesia, Prey, Diablo 2 Remonetized, Dishonored, The Ascent etc. And this is why I keep saying that - for me - the world of CP2077 is fundamentally broken.
Have you played The Ascent yet? Now that's a good example of how a damn cyberpunk world is build.
Ive seen some reviews and they all said its somewhat buggy when it comes to quests and stuff and the loot is kinda meh, all the same so for now ill wait till that gets fixed.
And about the NPCs from CP, they just run around like headless chicken with no aim to go anywhere. They duck and are afraid even noone did anything to provoke it. This feels so Alphalike i just know from those cheap assetflip unity games.
Cant be that hard to make something functioning in 5 years timeframe...and with the pace there are releasing fixes and patches this will take ges to get to playable state that someone can enjoy.
Also i dont get the people who finished the game and say "hurr durr, i had no bugs" .... must be retarded or have such a low (really low) bar for a game that they can live with it.
I just want a patch or mod that FORCES the traffic to spawn and stay without despawning in front of my damn eyes. Just a more stable modern traffic system....
And a better implementation of these shitty looking 2d assets.
I wish there would be a way to make the cars spawn earlier or sth even if it means less fps and more work for the cpu ofc. But they made sure of it so that you cant do a lot regarding mods. Only ini shit.
CDPR should be glad the game has this unbelievable amount of bugs, it's what gave them and some idiot fanboys an out so they can ramble on and on about how there is a masterpiece hidden beneath and they can absolutely redeem themselves with a few patches.
No amount of bugfixing will make this turd an even remotely good game. Every core gameplay mechanic is broken or lacklustre and they managed to make a Cyberpunk city absolutely boring to explore. I can't and won't believe anyone in that POS company thought that this was ready for release. They were YEARS away from being anywhere near the game they promised.

Yeah, I've only booted this game so far to check performance on a couple different machines using the nomad beginning and a near endgame (I think?) save and if there's something that kicks me right out of the experience is that. Maybe there's a mod somewhere that somewhat fixes it (maybe by lowering the overall npc count?) or maybe CDPR can address that somewhat with a npc density slider or something. I'd rather have less NPC's overall than the constant materializing and de-materializing ones

Das ist eine Katastrophe epischen Ausmaßes, meine freunde!
Spoiler:
this is a catastrophe!!!
what Kat Mikesch said makes all the sense, the bugs are the only thing obscuring the truth of lack of features, the terrible npc behaviour and general barebones state of the game, i hope they implement everything on updates.

Why should they even bother now game will never be what it should be and sales are over so at best they can get a small reputation bump out of this and that's not worth the development cost for further updates to them.
Realistically if they just pretend this game never happened and make a good Witcher 4 instead ppl will just forget it as well.
Hyped up, will be 'hyped up' lol, enjoy the buggy mess for what it's worth lol It never cost you anything, nor me lol, and it's good for a single playthrough, actually pretty decent, so stop fuckin moaning! Jesus? It's a 'game', nothing more lol., it ain't 'perfect', no, so what?, and nothing ever will be, even after patch 21908876. Play, enjoy, move on
There is no 'miracle' patch that will make this game 'the best ever'. The Witcher games were made when people in this world were 'sane', and not 'self entitled', times have changed, and no one is happy with anything no more Social Media says this also, so it must be right
@CDPROJEKTRED
has hired members of the @CyberpunkGame
modding scene to work on official modding support and bug squashing. They've come from teams creating Wolvenkit and Redscript, the only reason mods exist at all for 2077. Amazing!
Not standard. These weren't the usual turnover of low level employees who were at the company for a year, after a project is over. Look at that guy, 17 years, 12 years, 11 years. And all these names left in the middle of projects, not after W3 or Cyberpunk shipped
Not sure what is supposed to be so special about this slide. It compiles data from over 4 years. The company I work for (large global IT provider) has also seen a lot of senior people leave in the last 12 months, people who you would think would stay forever. The company is in good shape and morale is good, so it's not like there are inside reasons for them to go. CDPR looks to fit right in to this. If you have a good name it's currently very easy to find a good position.

Same. Turnover in good tech companies is extremely common here in the US. And its usually (in the company that Im in) on good terms/encouraged so that people fullfill their career goals and dont get stuck doing the same thing over and over. Normally these people are joining big tech companies like Google and FB. Im sure even big tech have turnover as well. Staying for 12 years in a single tech company is pretty rare
