Buying a 400$ console + 300$ worth of equipment, for a 60-70$ game, I call a fucking waste.

If I want to play from the bed, I just connect a gamepad to my PC, connect it to the screen, and play emulators, or platform games.

And they're all basically free.

Consoles will never be worth it in my world, regardless of the visual splendour.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

I can see the relaxing time in playing on a console. Plus its nice when you have some friends over, easier to play multiplayer in a console game then on a computer Smile

All 360 games are $10 more expensive then regular games "just because".

this is true at times though for me playing over an LAN with mates on PCs is tops.
I love consoles for many things, beating up your friend on Fight Night is almost as good as beating him up for real and less messy too(no blood on the carpet, split nails, swollen knuckles etc and he will speak to you the next day too. )

It's going to cost £270, no more equipment needed, I have it already. Plus, there are many games on the 360 I want to play, because it would be a waste for one game.

Anyway, it's no different from people spending ridiculous amounts of money to upgrade their PC, and this is usually motivated by the desire to run a particular game to their satisfaction. I'm sure oblivion has had this effect on a fair amount of people.

You fool!
You should always keep the crystal ball in the topmost room of your tower of Power! This room should be circular, have no windows but lots of carpets telling of the history of the world (or parrallel worlds) etc etc etc...Wink

Yes, and a retail purchase since the copy protection can be removed.

Sounds like a good plan.. I'll pick up the CE, install it and use a no-dvd crack so I can tuck the disc away in its case Smile

WTF.. reading ftw.. It was a question, so you agree with the question. =\... And imo its not. You don't get anything extra ingame. But maybe if you like reading. You get a big guide others doesn't. coin was it ^^

Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Collector's Edition:
Bonus Features:
Pocket Guide to the Empire - A 112 page guide to every aspect of Tamriel, including its people, provinces and much more.

Making of Oblivion Documentary - Includes a special behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of Oblivion.

Septim Gold Coin - An authentic replicated Septim, the official currency of Tamriel.

IMO not worth it
