Miscellaneous
Fixed an issue where players couldn't claim in-game Registration Rewards due to the error: "A network error has occurred. Please try again later".
Giving it a shot, I'm 3 hours in and the closest game I can compare it too is Borderlands. Not bad, but also still haven't seen anything that really grabs me and leaves me glued 2 or 3 straight hours with it, unlike the other game I'm playing now (ATOM). Playing it on hard, and using no mods so far.

So, where does Cyberpunk lose? A few areas for sure. Anything with vehicles, racing, combat or otherwise. Anything having to do with enemy AI, whether thatâs gang fights or police. And of course Cyberpunk doesnât have a GTA Online mode at all to compare for a multiplayer option (not yet, anyway).
But in the end, despite all the issues, I would consider Cyberpunk 2077 a better game than GTA 5
Story/writing wise its certainly miles better than GTA5, but thats not difficult.
AS for gameplay... oof yikes this aint it chief
Totally disagree, i prefer the writing of GTA (any of them) ten times above Cybercrap 77. Especially when you have Characters like Trevor, its over the top which makes it so enjoyable. CP cant compete with that, its more serious and imho just a borefest. I am not saying its bad, its just more of the casual stuff you see everywhere where GTA doesnt take itself serious at all.
One of the reasons why its so beloved by the fans. CP is allmost forgotten at this point, i mean who gives a shit about it these days anymore ?
It would had surely a different impact if they hadnt fucked it up on release.
Well runs smooth as butter on my 3080 definitely the best looking game to date, just driving threw night city is a joy. Not as impressive in daytime.
Gameplay is great, shooting is fun, story is amazing. Stealth could have been better, why not borrow from Splinter cell, you grab a guy from behind you can question him for passwords, torture him a little.
Keanu is a cool character, night city is the best city in a game to date, that's where all the effort went, building the city.
Side missions are amazing, some of them. Good thing too as the main story is surprisingly short.
The bad stuff- interface is overly complicated.
Ai of pedestrians is shit.
I don't like what they did with the armor, silly clothes that gives you nonsensical armor bonuses, fuzzy pink slippers +15 armor yey wth proly the gayest thing in the whole game.
Why have 'todos' where you buy cars?! Expensive as hell too. He's supposed to be a badass, should have changed that to missions where you steal cars, the fancier the car the tougher the mission.
They promised more than they delivered. Actually some of the stuff they promised was way to much, maybe they can deliver with dlc's.
Fist fighting side missions are ridiculous, way to hard, even with gorilla arms.
Love the game, one of the best I played 9/10. Can't wait to see what they deliver next.
There is nothing wrong with the game, if you just wanna enjoy it for what it is? Bugs aplenty, sure, and no magical patch will fix them, ever! But a good ride it is, and a solid 8.5/10 from me. Everything is gonna get 'moaned' about now, it's the way of this world today, self entitlement brat nonsense, ya know, and most coming from those who ain't even spent a penny on the damn thing!
Never listen to the cunts on here, or anywhere, lol, as most don't have good hardware to run it on regardless, so they are off to a bad start anyway, and will diss the game for that reason alone, although, never admit it Play and decide for yourself. It's pretty fun

even devs shat on the game but yeah they are probabl cunts too am i rite?
How is the game nowadays? Tempted to give this another try.
Just think of it as cyperpunk GTA with RPG elements and better combat mechanics but less polish in general. So straight casual fun but not the game of the century. You'll have a good time.
Expectations were super high, for obvious reasons... imagine if this was some smaller studio we've never heard about, and it came out of nowhere. Everyone would most likely be raving about it.

depends on him. I have the game as a 6/10 even if it were the most fluid and polished game in the world. Its filled with issues at the core, that dont have anything to do with either expectations nor polish. The skill tree is the most useless and boring crap. The main missions are railroaded talking sims. The world stuff like gigs is simplistic AI generated content. There's zero difficulty in the game and its extremely unbalanced, you're completely op from the first hours. And so on.
Most of the enjoyment i'd say comes, surprisingly, from the tech side of things. If there's a 3080 or 90 available for the game so that it can be maxed out with all its RT features, its the best looking game on the market. Its worth it for that alone i think, because you rarely have the chance to play in such an enviroment like Night City
I agree that this is '6/10' game. While it has its moments (mostly during cutscenes though), its limitations (linearity, no choice & consequence), and broken/useless mechanics (gear, skilltree, open world aspect, ...) become too apparent, too quickly.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
I am really trying to get into this game, but somehow can't
I am willing to give this the benefit of the doubt, and so far I haven't had any major glitches or errors either. But somehow this game doesn't click with me, although it should be right up my alley... Somehow everything seems to lifeless and inconsequential...
