I played it some but just lost it. Pvp and combat is fun for a time but weapon leveling is super slow so you use the same 6 abilities most of the time. Enemy variety is really poor. And the questing... feels like 20 years ago....
Was doing a quest where you need to go to 3 towers to collect some stuff, then you have to walk back (long walk) to the quest giver to hand it in. The npc then just sends you right back to the next 3 towers right next to the first set.... you do it walk back a million miles and the npc sends you to the same place to get 3 more towers.. and i just lost it and rage quit....
Story is ok but nothing special pretty generic. They sadly neutered the colonialism conquest of the new world feel its purely visual now. So the whole game feels pretty bland and generic.
Everything is very grindy you cannot level up by purely pvping or doing dungeons. A lot of things feel really old school but not in a particularly good way.
You cannot use the shield with the hatchet, there is no dual wielding and if you walk into water you just walk along the bottom of the lake/ocean.....

All true. The hype will pass. Still having fun atm, but i know the wtf am i actually doing feeling doing the same shit over and over isn't all that far away.

Funnily I only pirate epic store games(not willing to let that store on my pc) and movies/tv shows nowadays. So i am almost not a pirate anymore

Why isn't this game on Luna btw? Wouldn't an MMO be the perfect game for such a service, "when you are online you can play it"? That way you could do "chores" on your mobile or any other device.
Probably either the devs or Amazon don't trust the game or the service, or both.

It seems Amazon just revoked a bunch of keys even from those that bought it directly from Amazon so a lot of innocent people are getting false flagged and the game getting removed.
Fextralife who was sponsored by Amazon and had like 90k people watching him each day for launch week says he had bought 100 keys to give out to his viewers and all got revoked.

People on the Steam forums are trying to figure out what caused their keys to get revoked, a lot think it was because they bought more then 1 copy from Amazon for themselves and family members.
A dev posted in the Steam forums with the 2 links below but it seems like the second link is not working now but going by that link text maybe they realized they really screwed something up with the number of people complaining their legit keys bought from Amazon got revoked so that's why they took that second forum post down.

I hope they can fix this as i'm tired of seeing devs screw themselves over. Seems every online game earns massive hate at one point or another either fairly or unfairly. Quite fair in this case to be angry if you've done nothing wrong. Let's see how they deal with it.

Definitely. The way they've made quests is a headache as it is. Finish one quest and instantly get a quest to go right back. Finish that quest and get a quest to go back or some place near that. And manually running all the time is a nightmare. Either mounts or more and cheaper fast travel points

Mounts or a lower cost for the fast travel would be welcome as I have to really be able to spend at least an hour or more in game to feel like I am actually doing anything useful and depending on the mission location you could be running to that location and back longer then the actual mission takes.

It a crafting/PVP/sandbox mmo.
You are supposed to do other stuff like gathering while traveling.
I've you don't do that, yes, things get boring fast. If you do craft though things get boring a little later after you did find that 2-8 items in your typical copy pasta farm/village/forrest in your 134 time you did a quest like that, for 5% xp needed to level.
