I've finished it twice.. the third time I played it (with mods) it completely borked itself and corrupted every single save file after ~15 hours at which point I decided to just uninstall it and never play it again. Yeah, I was pissed off.

I'm starting another journey to Skyrim tomorrow, 10 years later to the date.
I've never actually played the "Special" edition (spent a lot of game time with the OG version + mods), so I guess now it's as good of a time as any. (with all the anniversary additions)

I loved Skyrim (outside of the main quest), but man how much I hated the dragon theme - not just here but in general - back in 2010-2011 dragons were dominant in almost every mainstream fantasy thing: Skyrim, Dragon Age series, Witcher 2, WoW Cataclysm, Game of Thrones...

Ten years later, instead of focusing the marketing of Anniversary Edition on the vast world full of mysteries (I didn't see Blackreach in the trailer - the exploration of it was one of the best experiences in any RPG ever), they are still emphasizing that the DRAGONZZ are after you and you get to kill the DRAGONZZZ
TLDR edit: Scary things incoming if you use SKSE plugins. Change Skyrim SE's update settings in Steam to only update when launched. Never launch Skyrim SE via Steam, only via your mod manager or skse64_loader.

In an attempt to avert the part of the modpocalpyse that I can control, I've been spending all of my free time for the last week and a half or so getting this ready, and just made it about an hour before the update was pushed. Thanks to Bethesda for giving me early access to AE so I could get this ready.
This is a preliminary build of SKSE64 with support for Skyrim SE 1.6.318, aka the Anniversary Edition. All of the hooks tested as working, the Papyrus extensions seem to be OKish but I don't have complete test coverage. At the very least you can keep using Todd's favorite mod (SkyUI) without problems. The primary feature that is missing is the plugin manager, which is currently disabled until I can rewrite the system that handles plugin compatibility checks. Plugin developers can build local versions with it enabled, but keep in mind that the version check code is going to change.
Due to the large amount of manual code rewrite required for this release, the possibility for bugs is higher than usual. That said, things seem to be working better than expected
