How do I play the game?
The game consists of either making choices during cinematics or exploring interactive areas to progress through the game.
There are various locations where you can walk around, chat to people, make story based choices, discover multiple subplots, find reading materials, listen to audio cassettes and complete small quests. Many objects can be interacted with, and there are numerous items you can find to use in your adventures.
One book in the game contains over 120 pages full of information, illustrations and photos.
It's not possible to see all of the content in any one playthrough. You will need to play the game at least 3 times to see the majority of the game's content.
The art style and presentation look great, going with Aussie humor is also fairly unique in the space. Can only imagine how many hours you've sunk into this project, just need post it all over the place, twitter, forums, steam / gog forums, hit up bluesnews see if he will plug it.
Another observation, i can see you are avoiding calling it an "adventure game" probably because its very much on-rails, and predominately scripted scenes, makes sense. That could be a missed opportunity though as adventure games still have a dedicated fan-base, even if its predominantly on-rails i would still consider it falling into adventure game territory.

I would change this sentance: "From the creator of 'Ray' comes a new choose your own adventure game." don't down play whatever gameplay mechanics you've put in there.
- control of 3 chars
- some psuedo hacking / lockpicking (unfailable interactive events).
- HOG elements that can have an impact on scenes or provide more options in scenes (maybe its dialogue?).
Just go -> "From the creator of 'Ray' comes a new adventure game", its $15 for a key from a just getting started indy dev (spelled out in the kickstarter campaign), just the impression I got, but i know the backstory.
Checked it out - You've done a really good job on this @Interinactive. It comes off very polished, there's a good level of interactivity in clicking around and the minigames etc.
I couldn't figure out the hacking picture matching after 5-10 or so attempts. Am i trying to match the 3 color combo's at the top in order? sometimes matching what i would assume is a correct color kills or add's time?
The colour combo at the top is the order the colours need to be matched in. Eg: match all the green shapes first, then the red, then the yellow.
In the full game you are given a test area to practice this with instructions, I didn't have time to add anything like that unfortunately
It was too simple to match shapes in a single colour so that mechanic changes it up a bit. I have about $5 left to my name so I couldn't afford anything too fancy
Very fortunate time to have one. This time next year everyone will be walking around with them and it loses most of its pulling power

Haha fun fact about Bluetooth failing due to too many devices
I never realised how much of an issue this could be. Thousands of phones, headphones, gamepads, keyboards, mice etc. I thought I was a fucking genius when I first walked in, being the only person I could see with wireless devices. OHHH look at all the peasants and their cables!
