gtfo with that notion. You never know the intent of the intruder until they get away and no one is maimed raped murdered and your house isn't on fire or destroyed. An intruder is a threat. Always and forever. Instead of running away after being attacked he stayed. His fault. Dogs protect. No better protection than eliminating a threat.
No you gtfo. If a dog can't distinguish between burglary and aggression towards the people it resides with (owners). This video doesn't tell us what kind of pitbull breed we have seen here, but in the Netherlands certain pitbull breeds are forbidden for a good reason.
As much as I love animals, some dog/cat lovers never seem to understand that some animals can be at fault as well without it being the fault of the owners.
At least in this case the dog did what he was supposed to do but now that it got a taste for flesh, it has to be put down because of the likelihood of doing something similar to another human. They do this for all animals btw:
