Ordered a Atmos setup ( https://www.samsung.com/uk/audio-devices/soundbar/q950a-black-hw-q950a-xu/ ) that i'm gonna use for my projector, then hook up a Chromecast (gen 4).

My question is if the Chromecast is the best choice for streaming various yarrrr movies for this type of setup? I can send it back if it's shit i guess, haven't gotten it yet.
I also looked at nVidia Shield TV Pro, which is more than twice as expensive, not sure if its worth it.

Most important for me is Atmos compatible, 3D compatible (not sure if this is even a thing, it's probably up to the software player..), great picture quality (124" screen so even a slight difference can be noticeable here).

CC or something else? Maybe just connect the hdmi out from my PC to the soundbar > projector. It would be nice to get rid of that 15m HDMI cable though.

Got the Chromecast today, it works great with the projector.

I also discovered that VLC has built in support for it. Right click the movie, selected renderer and there your Chromecast will show up and you can begin to cast to it.

I'm pleasantly surprised of how easy everything is to install and use.
