Can't use single seats in movies. Need actual pilots in case anything happens. Especially when they focus on having real actors in the cockpit with minimal CGI.

Well Tom does his own stunts, he doesn't need a babysitter pilot on his ass Mobster with a Fag

For this yes he does. Lol.
No wires to save him.
Especially when it costs like 30k an hr to fly those things.

I wonder if there are two scripts for every movie he does.
One that adds his death to the plot and if it's good enough, he agrees on the stunts lol.

I can't see why anyone would be hyped about this. Top Gun was a pure child of the 80'ies. While the 80'ies is somehow seeing a kind of nostalgia return in cinema and homes (Stranger Things, AHS, Turbo Kid and so on) this seems devoid of anything interesting unless you're a die hard Tom Cruise (© Church of Scientology) or get a hard on when you see a fighter jet. What's next, Big Trouble in Little China 2? We're already expecting the reboot of the reboot of Ghostbusters and those movies worked in their time periods.

Oh well, I'll probably watch it just for the action in the air.

I don't expect this one to be anything like the original (which I don't particularly like). I expect this to be a McQuarrie/Cruise type flick, which I find to be a very potent combination (Valkyrie, Edge of Tomorrow, Jack Reacher, Mission Impossible). It looks to be a much more serious movie.

I actually agree.

It's similar to gaming. People never move on, and spend far too much time reminiscing of the past, hoping that what they once had (when they were of a different mindset), is gonna be the same today (when they are far from that mindset) Wink

Kinda why I never believe in sequels Smile
