I don't see the problem if he brings controversial figures to speak something different than the narrative spewed constantly by the mainstream media (The same media who was against people going outside during the pandemic, but was on board with the George Floyd protests). So what if he brings these individuals? Everyone is still free to think and choose for themselves and if you are thinking you are getting the whole truth, you must be quite naive.
I developed hypertension after the vaccine and I didn't see any mainstream media or doctors speaking loud and clearly about this. It was rather funny when the cardiologist told me this is in the vaccine's nomenclature.

Both are a bit of celebrity ignoramuses. But I feel Young or Rogan can hold a stance counter to each other, AND both agree on some other things without 'changing his mind'.
Why is it not possible Neil thinks AIDS is only for 'the gays' and they should not touch your food, AND the vaccine is good?
Both can be ignorant loud mouths with varying degrees of 'a broken clock is right twice' moments that dont match up.

I didn't say he wasn't wrong about that  Just that BOTH can be idiots in different places in time. It's possible to have two ignorantly opinionated stances by two people and both of them be as incorrect as each other.
Both can be 90% of the time wrong. When the 10% doesnt line up doesn't mean they are being false in intent. Just means they are different people, with differently, yet still incorrectly skewed, worldviews.
Saying they can both hold opposite viewpoints on some things and share others.
Just because two 'agree' at some point does not mean one disagreeing on something later means he has strayed from the 'herd', which seems the logic here: That if someone disagrees with someone's preconception of what the 'other' herd that person was put into thinks, that person is now a 'no true scotsman' and is pandering/flip flopping/whatever.
Seems people love to categorize people so much, to be able to process who to like/dislike agree/disagree with on easier to grasp 'big brush strokes' of pattern finding.
Its like saying a neonazi that agrees with the vaccine mandate must be doing it just to pander to liberals for some reason.. You would be trying to figure out how these pegs you made up, fit into the holes you decided they must always fit in for both neonazis AND liberals. The peg might be generally right shaped, but the hole never fits neatly..so pound it in and fuss they are the reason it's hard to get it to fit vs the reality: you demanding you be provided unrealistic form fitting pegs and holes to work with.

Well, IIRC, Young pulled his stuff from Spotify a couple of years back because he thought the audio quality was horrible. Then he started selling his own hifi mp3 player and maybe a streaming service for his songs?
Could be an ego thing, wanting to see if he was bigger than Rogaine, see if Spotify would care more about him, and well clearly they don't. So he must be hurting if so.
Or he believes strongly that having certain guests spewing certain stuff to a large audience hurts everyone and on this particular issue he wants to make a stand. Plus this particular opinion he's disagreeing with is pretty important and relevant, so at least on this stand, kudos to him.

The problem with these podcasts is, that people just can't discriminate and many will automatically take the Malone view, because they want it to be true so their bias against the MSM and the government and globalisation and yadda yadda is confirmed. In this world the opposite view to the MSM is always the correct one. At least when you think you're somehow smarter then everyone else.
So at the end of the day. This shit sticks and it hinders the getting out of this pandemic.

You would think people read about current issues from multiple sources and get as informed as possible. This doesn't seem to be the norm though, seems a lot of people form their entire worldview off what a personality they like says online.
Rogaine isn't going anywhere so it's a non-issue, but I don't have a problem with his shit talk as I can handle and balance his and other peoples opinions like a rational human-being. Agree with his tidbit misinformation video -> it must be an American thing because the debatable things he claims changed over12months (masks, vaccines blah) where well known right at the start of their introduction.
At the end of the day, its just one opinion - if you are interested, then seek out more information? what is wrong with people?

Also, read what I said about hypertension in a post above. Given that I completed 3 forms in which I specified that I take cortisone on a daily basis, nobody seems to have been worried about the potential effects of the vaccine on somebody who's blood pressure was already pushed by medication. Finding out 2 weeks ago that the vaccine can cause hypertension was a comic irony especially because there were no warning signs ever to be find in the media.
Even if I knew this was a risk, I would still probably get vaccinated. But I'm using this example to highlight that there's plenty of bullshit on both sides.
