so what are they even showing here, is this new gameplay? some techno club? pretty useless.
Edit: ok, "next-gen gameplay"
reworked perk trees, removed useless perks
reblance the game / make it more fair
boomerang knife
AI in combat more effective, finds cover better
...Neon lights on wheels (...)
I guess it's going downhill from here
edit 2:
crowds acts differently
some civilians are armed and can decide to attack you
traffic acts differently
drivers can react differently, drive away or can lose consciousness, drives on pavement
city is more alive and reactive
skip time = crowd, traffic is more different
map is refreshed; new icons, new filters - see side content, vendors etc
more interesting jobs as you progress + new rewards
option to reject calls
change appearance mid game in mirror, more options (mostly makeup, color?)
home makeover (new websites to go to for renovation etc) 6 styles.
4 new apartments to rent
many new secrets to discover that they don't discuss
walk toggle
new romance options "small touches"
shower naked
Performance benchmark
It's a step in a right direction for sure, but they need at least 3 more patches like that for the game to be even in the same bracket of "what was once promised".
It's baffling how they are still ignoring some of the most wanted features from the players out there, no mention whatsoever of transmog.
If i google search about it there are various reddit threads talking about this. But this for sure wasnt my experience at launch or any of the other patches. No slugish mouse movement or anything like that. It was as it should be. I wonder if there was something else at play. Borderless window, vsync. Low framerate ?
Make sure you follow these steps regardless, its gonna improve every game
Tested this 1.5 version and it's a vastly improved experience.
Spoiler:
No idea what kind of voodoo magic these guys did, but performance has increased drastically on my side: max settings + .ini extended FOV @110 = game doesn't drop below 50FPS in bars or heavy loaded outside areas...
At launch I had to use MEDIUM settings to keep it @ 60FPS.
OR... it might be that they fixed the janky mouse acceleration and the game feels more fluid / responsive...

Yeah, performance is better no doubt, but the world itself (through the levels / environments / art direction) is still... non-alive, non-interactive, non-believable, non-immersive.
Overall the visual experience is... way too unrealistic, too colorful, too plastic. There are so many colors everywhere, it's like I am in some kind of a circus instead of a dark cyberpunk future.
I'd say that even Deus Ex HR had a more 'authentic' dark(!) cyberpunk atmosphere that this.
I think the settings looks pretty great for a 80's cyberpunk style and i'm glad they're not going grey/dark post apocalyptic, because it's not what Cyberpunk is about. i get the feeling the best settings are some of the indoor ones though, which is a bit disappointing.
What i don't want is sunny weather. I don't mind if it's sunny like 10% of the time, i want fog + rain. days could be short, too..
