Noobs, I just use WinZip to zip and unzip files, you can also use a crack to make it Pro version and get rid of the nag. You are newbs if you haven't figured it out yet. Why would I use 7zip when WinZip does the job just fine?

I use vlc to play files without extracting them. Where is your god now?

Why use a dedicated video player and add BLOAT to your system? I just use Winamp to play videos since I already have it installed for playing mp3 files, just follow these steps

https://www.osnn.net/threads/use-winamp-to-play-all-video-files.97777/

But I bet you won't be able to do it correctly Laughing Laughing

P.S.: Avoid scam mkv torrents, only download mpeg, it is an superior format so it always plays fine.

You don't have to fix a shit client. There are good options available.

no bruh, its exactly the same. many trackers dont accept different clients than utorrent, some accept only A, some only B but rarely A and B, but everyone accepts utorrent. other than ads there are no other problems with the client, you disable the ads after first install then its hassle free and it works exactly like old 2.x versions.

but what do i know, i dont wear a tinfoil hat

Indeed, never heard of this or experienced any issues using any other client.

Well, I can certainly say that some private audio trackers have a strict (nonsense if you ask me) client policy. But they're getting more relaxed (last year qBitTorrent wasn't accepted - now it is.)

If you didn't want it to be called 'a bunch of bullshit' you would have said: I use X because Y bans this or that client. Not make it sound like it is a common thing, because it is not.

You don't understand those posts of mine were parodies of people using old-ass versions of uTorrent and hacking the exe to remove ads? You think I really use WinZip and Winamp? Laughing

So i need a torrent client to download the stuff that used to be on "The trove".
Found the torrent files of it, but i cant find a decent client for w11 that does not include software that I really don't want to install.
Any suggestions on what to use?

I use qBitTorrent 4.3.5. The latest version is 4.4. I don't really care or worry about "telemetry" or whatever it is that worry some people anymore.
