3800x / 5700xt. Directly went for highest settings. It runs fluid until it just freezes for some frames. After my first death (like 16 hours into the game of course, ain't no noob here  ) I hear some random noises while the screen was black and I assume I should've seen something. Even the initial loading images got stuck a few times. WTF is going on?! I would've expected to have less issues with an AMD CPU and GPU (it's basically a playstation!) :'(
Does the game only use 500mb of vram ?!

It's not. DF said that both PS5 and XSX run with many framedrops, and the best console performing version is to run PS4 game binary on PS5, which runs with lower settings and resolution, but is the only variant to get locked 60fps.

Has anyone tried the isodemo yet and checked out the performance there?
Anything before you get out into open world doesnt count, the tutorial part is smooth and stutter free, but once you get out and especially once you get the mount..oh boy..

I play with max settings and 4K. I do get stutter sometimes, but not often.
I might be crazy, but this game seems to be missing something compared to dark souls. It certainly looks and plays like dark souls, but at the same time it feels like its a few steps back from Fromsoftwares new titles and back to dark souls 1 graphically. Also looting some orbs while running is shit compared to looking for corpses which are decently placed around the maps in the their other games.

Constant slowdowns during that first boss fight, something is horribly wrong with this game, worst than CP77, that game at least run OK for me, what kinda of shill propaganda is this with all the 10/10's and only ACG and SHill up mentioned this??

i played til after first boss and had a few very brief micro stutters but nothing major. pretty damn playable? still gonna give it a day and see if someone can offer some real fixed tho

Its not from one guy. Dozens or hundreds. Was it for Last of Us 2 i think ? Or uncharted 4 ? I think they started a campaign to remove a review that gave the game a 4/10 from metacritic. Troy Baker was pushing online as well to remove that review. It was insanity. The fanbase, who didnt play the game wanted to remove from existence anything bad about the title. They didnt play the game yet, didnt know how it actually was. But they wanted it to score good for the list wars.
Some people are more sensible, and cant handle all their media and inbox to be filled with "die, cunt" every day. So they end up going with the "expected" scoring.
Im sure the vast majority of journos dont like the games to be hard. Or how previous souls games made you lose your shit and backtrack a lot of the level when you die. But people would mock them and "git gud son" if they'd say that. So we end up in EVERY review with "its hard, but fair" and im sure a lot of them pretend to like these games

That game was a pillar for faggotry, trannies and LQBBW whatever and that review was a stain on their honor and a personal insult most likely. And i wouldnt be surprised if troy baker played it, he does seem invested in game character voices so perhaps he plays some games also.
