Finished at lvl 157 after 100h. Too OP for the end game, steamrolled the last bosses. Did the final boss on 2nd approach. I still have a lot of Night bosses to complete but I'm fed up with the game already. But overall a great experience

Man, going back to previous games after ER is so hard. I decided to replay DS3, but not having a dedicated jump button sucks and having to run all the way back to a boss room when I die is so tedious.

ds3 boss runs weren't bad except for Midir.. never beat that bitch

DS3 and Bloodborne after Elden Ring was fine, it was Demons Souls (ps5) that is snoresville after playing Elden Ring.

I just saw a post about a guy named Will Smith that invades other peoples games, slaps them then leaves. At least someone seems to be having fun with that invasion feature.

Beat it after 66 hrs / level 150 / final stats / sword I used the whole game (without much dex)

I still think that the story is fucking stupid, as is the 'ending' (what was my motivation the whole time???), but it's probably the best of the souls games to date iMMMooo. Grinding through an open and multiple dungeons was far better than how you typically level up in older games.

All of the bosses were a little too easy as well, but then I don't know how many I missed (I tried to find all without using any guides). I'd say maybe Malenia was the hardest, but then she only took a couple of attempts. High poise + relentless attacks puts her on her arse pretty quickly!

Jesus christ, what a game. Got the Yanni ending after 95hours at level 128, that Elden Beast can fuck right off after that Radagon boss fight, what a terrible boss that was. I still have that Snowfield area to the north to explore, as well as another underground area I just got the grace from, but I feel pretty burned out by now.

Still, what a world, what a game. The sense of exploration and scale is truly something else. The only thing that comes close is Skyrim, but that always had terrible combat, as well as those leveling enemies that never gave you that sense of achievment you get from beating bosses in Elden Ring.

This might have been the best open world game I ever played, I hope studios everywhere take notes from this. No quest markers, hard yet fair enemies, awesome build-enabling items hidden everywhere. This is how open world games should be, not this spongy, samey, level-adapted, copy-and-paste crap we get from Ubisoft and the likes.

0:54 Surprised
But you probably need to still face the wall, right? If not then that seems to be the ideal way to find them.

I slept on this, but my opinion of this hasn't changed. Curiously, some of my friends who were lagging behind on their playthroughs also found this the be one of the most dragged on and poorly designed Souls game to date, despite being big fans of the series.

The game has some great qualities like the stunning artistic direction and the open world comes with its perks. But there's a ton of repetition for the sake of numbers which is combined with forgettable bosses and plenty of other problems.

I found the reviews to be quite deceptive and the reception by the so called journalists reminded me of the way they handle whatever Hideo Kojima makes... Quotes like fully handcrafted were hilarious to read. But hey, if it's open world is amazing by default, right?! Rolling Eyes If anything, all I want to do after Elden Ring is not to fire up a new playthrough, but play Sekiro again.
