400 bug fixes

When the rest of the patch notes are lackluster, might as well try to impress people with bug numbers! Meanwhile, game is basically dead. None of these fixes will change that.

All of these bugs, or most of, should have been fixed like 4 weeks after the launch, or not even been in the game with a proper development time. (thx EA)

We all know that.

Now, what I don't get is why everyone was screaming for VOIP from the get-go and DICE presents it as a major feature...

I have played all of BF series games with countless hours (seriously doubt anyone can match that here) and I can HARDLY remember anyone using VOIP ever.

Most ppl (me included) mute it completely and use other means to communicate with the ppl I WANT to instead of having endless burping russian kids or flaming toxic wannabes ringing in my ears.

So..no new maps, no new operators, no overhaul of the vehicles (tv-missile for helis anyone?)...no c5-drone-nerf (hello breakthrough vehicles)...

Why should I play this now compared to last week? It was pretty bugfree for me in the first place and this update appears more or less useless to me.

Scoreboard...yeah...whoever needs that.

The game is fun for a round or two each week, but then I can happily abstain to play other things...never happened before with any battlefield (maybe hardline).

PS: I was 'ok' with the operator-thingie in the first place, as long as it's a one-off for 2042 and not developing into some new permanent EA-making-money-scheme by selling them in future games with game passes or real money...

My graphical/game settings weren't reset - but my keybinds were - was a pain in the ass to go back through and remap them all.

That said, they finally fixed the issue of the third person camera being perma-bound to the arrow keys on ground transport vehicles. Only took them over 6 months.

The patch is good, but still I would expect to see map rework at least for half of the maps and in May patch the other half... that would be excellent, but we got only bugfixes... This would be ok if they done this in January... but omg the game is out for 5 months...

What I like is new audio mix, finally game sounds based on what is going around you... Maybe a slightly better performance (or placebo - dint touched the game for a month or two), but still the game is way too demanding CPU & GPU wise...

the game is better, but now we only moved from alpha to beta...

How hard is to cut of wasteland from breakaway and make the map smaller - or rework that section of map?
How hard is to add Rush into All out warfare?
How hard is to not dismantle lobby after round is finished, so you are not stuck with same map for next rounds...
How hard is to add server browser in order to actually have a choice which map you want to play...

And I also noticed new animations & UI bugs..

edit: and still no fucking points for vehicle damage... you put 2x rockets to Tank, somebody takes those two left HP and gets all the points instead of you... WADAFUCK, what's the point of playing with rocket launcher?
