Just received my DualSense pad today. Gladly it was a second revision. That's pretty much all I would spend my money on regarding PlayStation brand. 
It seems that Sony is tempted by the PC community when it seems that sooner or later all exclusives will be available on Steam as well.

It's a worldwide Sony discount if I'm correct.
I think most of the changes are internal for better or for worst.

I'm still to pair mine but it definitely feels heavier than the PS4 controller. I have two of them thanks to Steam Link. One for living room and second at bedroom. I'm yet to decide will I use DualSense for my PC or maybe replace one the old PS4 controllers.

Did you get it working properly? I had one for a week and it was an absolute nightmare getting it register properly in games, even with Steam's integration it was shit. Finally got fed up with fucking around with shit and returned it for an xbox pad and haven't had any issues since.

weird. i had pretty much the opposite experience... connected via BT opened steam and everything worked out of the box.
afaik it also supports DS4Windows so that should help with any other non-steam game (at least in theory)
the controller just doesn't feel comfortable in my hands somehow.. always feels like it's slipping out of my hands but maybe that's a matter of getting used to it

We will have more details to share about both Marvel’s Spider-Man PC games as we approach their respective launches. For now, we can reveal that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will launch on PC on August 12, 2022 while Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on PC in Fall 2022.

also, did they forgot about uncharted 4? was supposed to release june/july or something

People not being able to buy the PS5 might lead to more titles being released to PC i guess..
I mean surely it will impact game sales that not everyone who wants a PS5 can find one.
PS5 might be a worse purchase than the PS4 was if so.
Uncharted had a leaked release date (june) but this date was later removed, it's now TBA.

Weird they didn't drop a release date for the UC collection. It was announced 9 months ago and the leaked release date seemed plausible. I hope it's not delayed.

Not everyone wants to buy a 599 product and only use it twice or thrice since purchase.
I don't mind waiting. But I'd rather buy a console with worthy games and ratchet and Clank is the only one for me atm. I beat sm1 on PS4. I'll play it again on PC. I'm more excited for miles.

Did price go up? It was $500 when i got one.
I mean yeah that's the trade off. Don't want to wait a year or more for ports? Get a PS5. Dont mind waiting or dont mind maybe not playing every Sony game if they're dicks and withhold certain games for the platform (highly likely)? Don't buy one.

Last console I bought at launch was WiiU. A year+ of no good games.

Eventually they will. Still gonna be years, maybe even decades.
But multiplatform games just sell better, even Sony heard that bell.
Though imagine what a dumbass company it must be to take this long.
Making the big money makers (games) exclusive so you can sell more of the small profit margin product (consoles).
Nintendo will hold on to it for much much longer. Though their console and accessory margins are much better I imagine, so I get it.

making everything available on all consoles won't really work, they need a few exclusives to stand out.. of course those multi-platform games sells better (if everyone can buy the game), super obvious... but it's more complex than that. it comes down to publishing / rights, avoiding fees, subscription models, stuff like that.
Offering their console in the first place is just so that people can buy the games, it's just a "necessary evil", they don't make a ton of profit on them, but also someone has to offer it and obviously it's great if you can sell games on your own platform.

Wasn't readily available at lunch here both switch and ps5 xboxesx as well.
Bought switch just for Splatoon. Then I hacked my switch and Splatoon became irrelevant. Now I just use it for ring fit and some odd games I wanna try out. might buy light switch for next Splatoon though.
Ps5 with its library right now doesn't interest me. There isn't a game on it that I must play. Once socom comes out Ill reconsider. Lol. But right now wasting 600 dollaroos for a dust collector is silly. Just to own one? Be like those people standing in lines to buy a 400 dollar shirt to show off their worth because deep down inside they have nothing significant going on in their life so they gotta appear to be on the higher podium in society? Yah nah.
I'll buy a ps5 when there's something I actually wanna play. Heck Xbox is a better buy right now with gamepass subscription since I got it on PC. But then it's a waste of monies cause I play gamepass games on PC.

even though ps3 architecture was bad still dosent hide the fact that ps3 outsold xbox in the long run even though it lauched later than xbox.
