Yea they're giving it for free as well for PS5 in April's PS+ games. It plays a lot better then the PS1 game...it is a lot better then I thought it was going to be!! Fun time

I don't remember much of the original game so I can't make direct comparisons between the two versions, but this reboomake is pleasant indeed to play. The presentation is adequate and its mechanics based on trolling them pesky Sligs and solving environmental mini-puzzles are satisfying in their own odd(tm) way.

Fun game but it's driving me nuts. Jump mechanics seem to be slightly broken. Just doesn't hook at the ledge 90% of the time.

For me personally, any speed run involving glitches to bypass parts of the game, are not worth their name. But that's maybe just me.
