ALl three titles will include “cutt-ing-edge features” such as ray-tracing, high frame rate, and 3D audio. The PlayStation 5 versions will also feature DualSense support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Finally, something to replace the weak SSR implementation.

An upgrade patch will be releasing soon and system requirements will also be updated.
【Update on system requirements】
The system requirements will change with the arrival of the upgrade patch. The new minimum requirements are listed below alongside the previous specifications no longer supported under this upgrade patch.

Obsidian aren't Bethesda, Crowbar Collective aren't Valve and Nixxes aren't Eidos-Montreal. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference at the end of the day when they're still making quality products or upgrades based on other people's IP
Did Neobards make something terrible? Something that reached Capcom's Resident Evil 6 levels of awfulness?
You comparing studios to publishers there. I judge publishers pretty harshly though, like i won't buy from these publishers at all anymore (and for a long time). It seems any studios working for these publishers publish copy/paste games or crap with unethical monetisation.
Bad list:
Squaresoft
EA
ActiBlizz
Ubisoft
Bethesda are on thin ice.
Good list:
Capcom are probably my #1 AAA publisher right now, although i don't know if they publish many third-party titles not developed in house
Devolver Digital, mostly budget games but release good projects from time to time.
Indy studios self publishing on steam you have to case by case.
Anyway don't think Neobards means much, i think they developed the insta-dead RE online games no-one played. Will just have to see what happens with the patches.

Very simple what I mean. Since this is outsourced it will be lower budgeted, hence I don't expect too much.
Didn't say it can't or won't be good. I said I don't have super high hopes. I'm very open to being positively surprised.

Yeah, I'm aware of those. I was just curious if they're known for doing shitty work in general, it mostly seems like they get to handle the B/C grade stuff passed on over from Capcom. They offered to publish my shitty little game which makes them seem kind of... inconsequential
I was wondering why that'd be necessary. Shouldn't disabling ray tracing be enough to get close enough to the old performance? But yeah then I saw DX12 only....
That explains it I guess.
Also I assume they didn't but does anyone know if they restored full dismemberment in RE3?
Was so disappointing that they dropped one of the standout features of RE2 in favor of disappearing bodies and exploding limbs in RE3 for a little better performance (I assume)

Sorry for necro. I am trying to get this game running in VR, which I generally managed to do with REFramework. However I "only" have a 2060Super which is struggling to get this running decently. I wanted to use the DLSS mod to get better performance, but somehow I can't get both (VR and DLSS) working at the same time. This is most likely due to both requiring their own dinput8.dll...
Reddit and also Google isn't really useful either. Maybe one of you guys here knows something about this?

Ok so I am know I am talking to myself here, but who knows who will stumble upon this one day (maybe even future-me).
The issue is the version of RE-Framework. To enable DLSS in RE2 Remake, you need a correct version and the praydog version does not properly support the temporal upscaler. Instead you need to use a fork, for example this one:
https://github.com/yobson1/REFramework/releases/tag/empress
Install this version of REFramework, then get the Upscalerbaseplugin from Nexusmods (https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/502?tab=files) as well as the appropriate dlls.

Is there any mod that "balances" leon's weapons? Can't quite explain it but his weapons seem less effective than claire's or something, while in the original it was the other way around.

Not sure if this helps (didn't try them out), but maybe these 2 are worth looking into:

Thanks men. The 2nd might solve my issues, need to compare leon's weapons to claire's first.
I guess a simpler version of it would be simply move claire's weapons to leon's scenario.
