Horizon is PS4-5 only, and maybe when Horizon 18 comes out it will have around 30 reviews too... It's the follow-up to one of the best selling games on PS4 after all, much hype around it.

Wishful thinking!
Mario, Zelda, Pokemon etc are all single platform and with dozens of sequels as well, but they're still covered more than most games. Horizon will clearly go on to be a well known franchise like Uncharted or Tomb Raider.
Over the years, journalists have proven more than a few times that they can't play games for shit. eg:
There was also another that I can't find, where the journalist was calling a game 'too button mashy', but he was playing it in automatic mode (a mode that plays the game for you...).
I do not doubt for a second that many would look at a game like Total War and run for the hills rather than write about it.
This happens because its PC only. A lot of the journos we have today have never known anything other than a console. When they get a pc only game like this, they have to reluctantly pull their laptop and force themselves to play it, as a job.
This is not something new. Witcher 2 was one of the biggest games in 2011. A lavish production, well hyped and with the most amazing graphics that year. A PC only game at the time. The neutered xbox version that came out an entire year later had more reviews than the original PC release.
Journos can usually ask the review code for the platform of choice. Looking back at Doom 2016, the ps4 version has over 60 reviews and the pc one has 40. The console obsession is so strong in the press that they willingly wanted to play it on playstation. Just the world we live in today
Seems like it's pretty bugged and lacking content.
He says at the beginning it's a pre-release preview version he got with not all things implemented. He mentions that some models are still half-ass done and will be worked on.

Yeah, I saw that, I'm not talking about obvious placeholders or unfinished stuff. If you've played the previous WH games you should have an idea of what's a minor thing that will be ironed out pretty quickly (with the day-1 patch most likely) and what is a typical CA thing that will take months (i.e siege AI issues), DLCs (i.e. separate chaos factions being weird and having low unit counts/diversity) or mods to fix.
