Just rewatched that tractor beam scene, so well done. Skarsgård is so great in this

That scene was fantastic. And so was the previous scene with Skarsgård and Whitaker, those 2 (especially Skarsgård ) stealing the show.

We still know little about Skarsgård's character, but he's already becoming one of my favourite tv-series characters in a long time.

I know this would be very cheap, and the show most certainly has no need for it (like I said before, by a very wide margin this is the best thing to happen to SW since the prequels, at the least), but ... the skill with which he piloted the ship. His ability to persuade ... his use of robes ...

Could we be in for a surprise ending here? Could he be a grey Jedi? The show has absolutely no need for it ... yet I kind of have a feeling.

Great final, great series.

They have massively raised the bar with this, and I don't see any other Disney SW coming anywhere near it.

Hmm, seems like I'm the only one who wasn't very impressed by the last two episodes overall, except for a few bits. Somehow, I expected... more. The atmosphere was great, but maybe more screen time would have been nice. And there are way too many loose ends.

Also, the Mon Mothma storyline is getting really stale now; I hope something meaningful happens soon.

On the other hand, it's great to see stormtroopers not being portrayed as dumb fucks who can't shoot shit, but rather an actually elite and deadly force.

The finale wasn't the strongest part of the sieries, true, but it was still good, and the series was great.

I am very surprised at this, to be honest. Very, very surprised.

Finally a show with no fucking agenda, no "the message", just good old writing, directing and acting greatness.

Not only the only watchable, but also by far the best SW movie or series to come out since ep 3.

Congratulations to the creators. They managed to perfectly expand on the setting without taking anything out. Very rare sight. The empire is finally frightening, the pressure can be felt, the rebellion is finally nuanced. Works without Jedi.

Best show of 2022. How unexpected ...

I just devoured the season like a Quockran with high expectations and an empty belly, and indeed, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the adventures of Diego Moon. Everything Went Better Than Expected At last, a Star Wars production that's mature with its cold industrial setting and a full-fledged story showcasing regular people within the rebellion and empire. No force-related tripe or rancid berries, just gritty life and grounded espionage work leading to major plot points without rushing things.

The direction is rock-solid and so is the acting, from Skarsdad and Andy Serkis to Yennefer and my man Forest. Honourable mention to Bix for filling the giggity quota that was left vacant since Felicity Jones in Rogue One (the only Star Wars movie that I liked since the original trilogy). I actually have little to complain about, which doesn't happen very often. Now let's hope the sinister D+erp side stays away from this, it would be a damn shame if the show started smelling like Bantha milk.

Oh yeah, that was Yennefer Laughing
I particularly enjoyed the ISB scenes, and the inner workings of the Empire. Kept wondering what they were making in the prison too.

Too bad we didn't get some closure for Andy Serkis' character, he was great in this.

He might return, of course. But we did get closure.

Loved it Very Happy

Probably the best Star Wars thing ever in my opinion

It's nice when they give characters, plots/subplots etc time to play out, rather than trying to squeeze everything into single episodes (or movies)

So this is actually worth watching? I pretty much swore off all these star wars spinoffs after that Obi Wan show.

I had no idea there was going to be a second season. This was, is the best SW spinoff.

I may rewatch this one, and introduce my wife it’s that good!
Andy Serkis appearance was awesome, love everything he does, pure genius.

Yeah, by far the best Star Wars tv series ever made.

It's gonna be the second and final season, a total of 12 episodes that apparently will span 4 years.
