Looks pretty cheap for some reason.
Also 1200 years before the Witcher but it seems like gear and the tech are the same as in the present timeline of the Witcher.
This is the same issue with ASOIAF where the world of Westeros apparently has stayed technologically stagnant for thousands of years.
This would be fine or understandable were these worlds high fantasy worlds with people having easy access to magic to make their lives easier so they have an excuse as to why they're not researching technology.
It's a world building failure IMO.

Yep. Each ethnicity checkbox is nicely covered. You've got the strong independent wah-men's. The only semi normal looking character being relegated to the dumb brute with an axe, and the tran-she (kinda like a banshee, because The Witcher, but a tranny) on the right.
The only one that's up for debate is the guy in the back - probably deaf or mute to cover that base.
The backstory on the horses are that they're all gay.

I watched the "10 reasons to watch" by the actors/show runner. Nothing mentioned about it having a good, compelling story, but they did mention it has the first kiss between two men. yeah, i'm sure that's why fantasy nerds would watch this...
8% on RT now.

...can't wait for the showrunner and actors to attack the "racist" and "misogynist" viewers (the same ones who likely enjoyed House of the Dragon, a show with strong women, black actors, gender fluid actors etc etc...)

Took people long enough though to realize the insipid agenda souring almost everything. Let's hope people react when they realize this is no one thing, but rather everywhere to different degrees. What we lacked was loud protests, we only had loud protests against white people, men in general and lots of anger and gaslighting those who reacted to that. Sadly people was also too chickenshit to complain, even while being anonymous.

I'm beginning to think this is done deliberately to prove a point and to make shows even more propaganda-like.
What will happen is the usual "look, it's getting review bombed because of racism and misogyny! We need to make shows even MORE about the MESSAGE to teach them a lesson!"
it's what happened with LOTR series. All male writers are kicked out, more diversity for the next season too. Showrunner obviously blames racism etc.
But I'm not sure this is really done for an audience at all, i kind of doubt it. It's more like some ESG tax scam + propaganda pushed by the idiots in charge because no one cares what they do with it. I wouldn't know the details, just that the whole thing is so off and i have a hard time believing they're not following what has happened to similar woke shows.
"Two men kissing" is one of the promoted highlights for this show, is that what most people with insight into fantasy (and the larger portion of its audience), nerd culture, Witcher fandom, would've done to appeal to this audience to get a really great, loved show going? No. An insane person perhaps, or someone with an agenda, someone who knows exactly how that will play out.
It's the later, i don't think they're insane.
