I don't think its new. Men use to pay good sums to watch women take off 1/2 their clothes on stage in tame (legal) burlesque shows in the 20-30's. And would pay by the minute in the 70's to sit in a booth with a timed window to see women dance around in peep show booths, at least the upfront ones. They never got nude, but men would pay by the minute with $1's to keep the window open in hopes she 'breaks the rules for the $1s I spent' and takes something off.
Its not new, just its publicly visible due to internet now. What was behind closed doors, in a small bland building no one thought about can now be found openly on twitch is all.
I mean the whole point of stripclubs if you boil it down is: My job as a dancer is to make you think you are always just one more $1 away from taking me home to bang me.
