There seem to be shader compilation stutters on PC, so hold off buying this on PC for now

@yeah, multiple outlets that tested on PC report stutters, not shader compilation, but seemingly traversal stutters. From 3080s to 4090s

Expect micro stutters by the sound of it. I dunno though about him saying it's middling in terms of visuals.. looks pretty damn good to me.

Compared to Callisto, it's really midling. But pretty much everything else is. But it's still a pretty big gulf between them, visually.




Multiple outlets reported some sort of traversal stutters, pcgamesn, rock paper shotgun, computerbase.de Fucking DX12

Don't hold it in such high regard. For all their beauty, the visuals of Callisto Protocol are quite rigid.

Game runs around 70-80 fps for me on high (5950x, 64GB RAM, 3080 @ 5120x1440 ultra wide, M2 drive for game) with drops to 50 fps and micro stutters.

The lighting is excellent but the audio (with headset) is very immersive. Came across first bug though, first time you encounter a lurker it's supposed to kill a guy behind the glass but for me the guy's asset was stuck in a pose.
