The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

The movie is like the tie-in comics of the games, the video game writers are free to contradict them with the next game in the series.

Being that it is Rocksteady I think the gameplay will be be fine, we just have to hope we do not get an Arkham Knight type port on release but I think they probably learned from that mistake.
What is interesting though is that it was mentioned a while back that DC actually will not allow a few specific heroes to be killed in the game, I will not post the names mentioned since it would be possible spoilers but I think anyone could figure out which couple of Justice League heroes are on that list.
For the trailer i thought it was "Kill the Justice League... Well, not really, just kill the ones that are controlling them, because we need them to save the world..."

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has officially been delayed to spring 2023, according to an announcement from Rocksteady Games creative director Sefton Hill.
The Battlepass thing will have many waiting for this to hit the bargain bin now especially after Gotham Knights as even Rocksteady behind this cannot justify buying it at full price knowing they are going to be nickel and diming the game with DLC.
