TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
If they could get Arnie involved then I would like it to be a proper movie sequel.

It's just going to be another run of the mill formulaic network show, 99.9% sure. At best there will be a little Arnie cameo.
I watched Lethal Weapon and it was ok - despite its obvious networkiness - the first half was quite enjoyable.
But as soon as Riggs became more stable and the buddy interactions turned to routine the show regressed into the known standard patterns.

Yep, exactly what I'm thinking too, it most likely won't be allowed to be anything more than yet another safe* and generic production (which is what Lethal Weapon was for me, at best...until I lasted).
*we can forget about this

This development season shows no signs of that trend slowing down as ABC is readying a live-action take on The Jetsons and a female-led Greatest American Hero, while NBC is adapting The Munsters and Miami Vice, while Amazon recently picked up a Starsky and Hutch revival, among others.
Good lord. Stahp *pokes creativity's dead body with a stick*
True Lies, inspired by James Cameron’s hit action/comedy film of the same name, follows Harry, a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen, a language professor bored with her daily routine, who makes the shocking discovery that her seemingly ordinary husband is leading an extraordinary double life.

When James Cameron’s “True Lies” hit theaters in 1994, the story of a muscly spy (Arnold Schwarzenegger) moonlighting as a computer salesman while his bored wife (Jamie Lee Curtis) found secretive ways to pursue purpose was fun, fresh and provocative. Fast-forward nearly 30 years, and many of the film’s tropes and stereotypes just don’t hold up.
So when it came to adapting the film into a TV show, changes were necessary. Unfortunately, in updating the material, showrunner Matt Nix failed to keep the essence of what made the movie so fun in the first place: the lies between a husband and wife.

Classic 2023, True Lies, one of the greatest directors of our time making a movie tailor-made for the most iconic and charismatic action star of all time. Yeah this totally lends itself to a budget TV series.
Network show, who is surprised? See Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour, MacGyver...
This will be cancelled after 2 Seasons max.
Oh just noticed I already wrote this in 2017. Nostradamus? No, just common sense.
