Pedro Pascal is the biggest winner here. He's playing in this show less than he did in Mandalarion, and he wasn't even in the costume for 99% of the time in S1

All in all, pretty disappointing show. Started of really strong, but after episode 3 it's only gone downhill. I think those who played the game had the most fun comparing the scenes, but as a zombie-show, it's not exactly a classic. Maybe if they made 2 seasons of it, but maybe they didn't want to take the risk of the show flopping and getting cancelled after 1 season.
Both The Walking Dead (s01) and The Road did everything better.

Sure, the game is set during a "zombie" apocalypse, but for me it's just a setting, it's not the main thing about it.
people are so retarded for constantly whining about there not being enough zombies, if those ppl played the games at all they would realize that zombie gameplay is like barely 20% of the games' content.
These are basically closer to being MGS-like stealth games with some zombie/horror elements now and then to mix it up.
How is that retarded? it's the main selling point of the show. Of course these things are never about zombies/infected/killer fog/whatever. But they should be a constant threat in the background.
I never said I want a zombie-of-the-week format either. Why do you think I keep mentioning The Road, about a father and his son surviving after nuclear apocalypse (both book and movie are highly recommended btw)

I binged the first episodes the other day and damn it's a bleak show. Never played the game so I had very little knowledge going into it. Great acting, serious drama and a harrowing image of a post-apocalyptic world. I quickly caught on to the fact that it's not a monster-zombie show; it's a survival show where people are horrible when faced with an end to existence. It was great.
Still waiting to finish the game on PC before watching this
On PS4, I only ever made it up to some part where it's night and there are soldiers outside you need to sneak around, I don't think it was very far in to it.
Then I guess we wait another year for TLOU2 to hit PC. Hopefully
well its been 20 years since the infected, in 20 years people learnt how they behave, where they are etc so u can say people avoid those places, like the cities. even joel or tess said it in the beginning
like u know bears live in the woods or around them, so as long as u dont go there u are fine.
so its not like with twd where infection is just starting, tlou world is already lived in and people know about zombie behaviour
Good finale to a pretty great first season. I wondered when Ashley Johnson was making an appearance but that intro was also great! Pretty weird hearing the grunts and sounds of pain from the actual video game Ellie though lol.
Shame they couldn’t give us a movie length episode to end with. Overall the series was too light on clickers and some scenes were too rushed but it was decent and well done.
