Looks great, plays great.
3440x1440, all maxed, dlss quality, HDR = 144 fps on a 3080. Visuals are crisp and super smooth (well bit of stutter here and there from shader comp, since it doesn't stutter anymore after "loading" the things ).
Then errored out (network) and 60 min queues. Gonna try again tomorrow.
Main PC : I7 12700, MSI Ventus RTX 4090 24gb, Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED
Laptop : I5 4200H @ 3400mhz boost, GTX 850m 2gb Vram DDR3, 4gb RAM DDR3

I'm not shitposting, I'm expressing something about your subjective preferences to questionable games from decadent developers. It's not very different than your incisive criticism towards everything except these developers that you like (eg Blizzard, CDPR, etc), I'm just more efficient with my post.

They DO have issues, indeed, but they also have incredible qualities that ANY gamer can recognize.

All of these games were top of the top at the time of release. Diablo 3 had issues with simplification and the auction house, but was fantastic with it's gameplay nonetheless. The rest were plenty good all around.

For me it depends on how it's done. If it's like POE then no. You can easily screw yourself with that and that's.. Yeah no. But if you can undo talents like you wish then i'd be totally for more advanced systems.

I was really looking forward to playing Diablo 4 beta, but I have to say I was very disappointed. The graphics look outdated, the gameplay feels clunky and the loot system is boring. It's like they took everything that made Diablo 3 fun and threw it away. The game plays like a worse version of Path of Exile, which is already a better game in every aspect. Diablo 4 beta feels like a waste of time and money. I hope they can fix it before the official release, but I'm not holding my breath.

You can actually correct your mistakes even in PoE. In a H&S it's all about having options to experiment and create builds. As of right now, the options in Diablo 4 are pathetic. And they they talked so much about having an expansive skill tree to give players agency.
The art style is pretty nice. The graphics are not particularly amazing, but the physics and lighting alongside some nice details do make quite a difference.
The music is quite atmospheric.
The UI is hit or miss in terms of design. Some things look stylish, others (like notifications or achievements) feel shoehorned.
The performance is trash and the game is a vram blackhole.
The camera is quite zoomed in.

I got a 3080 10gb and I stutter like crazy in game. Especially when moving around as it loads new assets.
I'm wondering if it's related to the HD texture pack which some people have and some don't for some stupid ass reason.
My specs:
Ryzen 5950x @ boosting 5ghz, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master, 128gb G.Skill Trident Neo pc3600 ram, nVidia RTX 5080, SoundBlasterX G6, Samsung 980 Pro m.2 1TB and Hynix m.2 1TB storage SSD. Custom watercooling loop.

If you mean sales, ofc the preceding games quality guaranteed that anything released would sell well (Even now they are still banking off D2's success with this crap). The only game i thought was any good out of those was SC2, the rest shift-del.
SC2 wasn't perfect either.. protoss expansion sucked, the dragon ball z ending sucked, the fact they 1:1 recycled the exact same story sucked. However SC2's engine, the gameplay (well the campaigns played like a massive tutorial) was a QOL improved 1:1 copy of the original game was pretty damn fun/good.
D3 did it too - Izaul, butcher, leoric, baal, adriane.. mEmBeR MEmbeR!!.. like no-one can do anything with this IP/Lore? kill off cain wtf? tyrial flying rainbow shit, butterfly cartoon monster is the best you can do with unlimited time and money?
Same here again D4.. barbarian, sorc, necro mMBber NeCRO! - where is the creativity esp. with such a good IP (well not anymore i guess).

Some of the abilities are so boring. Especially from the rogue, but the sorcerer has quite a few stinkers as well. I haven't gotten to the barbarian yet.

yep this game will need an expensansion for sure to be any decent, but the engine is so limited , they gonna need some real smart people to fix this stinker, and i doubt they still have the talent
dethy, on reddit they said the game has a massive memory leak, lowering textures fixed it

I don't see a problem with that. This is a continuation in the same world, people do learn the same kind of magic and spells. It's just the way some of these spells and abilities are done that makes them boring.

The problem is that is not creative & boring.. I've played d2 lots, a lot of people have.. the same freaking skills.. the same classes zZZZzzzz boring. PoE has 210+ active skill gems, Last Epoch not as complex but still good enough variety for 2-3 builds a class.
The D1 and D2 team i dont think recycled anything between games, i highly doubt they had a 2020 Blizzard/Activision budget and fleet or creative writing team blizz has today.
It's an intentional decision to aim for more of same = it won't be a good game but passable enough for derp to spend $100.

You fellas have quite big expectations from Early Access AAA games.
Don't you remember? Nowadays things have changed:
• Official launch = in reality = Early Access
• 6 months of updates after launch = in reality = BETA
• 1 year after launch + DLCs = in reality = Version 1.0
• 1/2+ years after launch + DLCs + Expansions = in reality = Complete True We Promise Final Version.
It's not even a joke in today's industry...
