Is there any way to get the game run smooth, shitloads of stutters everywhere, otherwise runs locked 4K120fps on 5800X3D + 32GB RAM + RTX 3080.

Drop textures to medium. Not sure why, but they load up RAM ( not even Vram so it makes no sense ) and also cause the out of memory bug witb 32gb ram plus… 8 gb vram should be enough for high according to them. So maybe in final game, but for now all maxed excelpt medium textures = smooth 144 fps.
Main PC : I7 12700, MSI Ventus RTX 4090 24gb, Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED
Laptop : I5 4200H @ 3400mhz boost, GTX 850m 2gb Vram DDR3, 4gb RAM DDR3

Pretty generic and forgettable for the most part, no longer surprised I've heard people say Lost Ark is a better game
And that's after 5 hours.. not too hopeful with this one
Pretty sure I preferred the Diablo 3 beta

To each his own i guess. Tried lost ark, poe and all the other clones, never liked them. Guess it’s a general theme issue ( fantasy vs whatever poe wants to be and diablo’s heaven vs hell, angels and demons ) the artstyle and overall design which are top notch compared to the rest.
Loving d4 beta so far but stopped after lvl 20 since no point playing rn since it all gets deleted anyway. Just wanted to check how it feels to play, the visuals, HDR etc.

God the UI in this game is a big fuckmess. Why are there like 50 different fonts? Why can't i look at the damn skill tree in full screen? Is it because it was designed for a phone screen or something? Game gives me mobile vibes.
And as i feared, it's a lot of running around open world doing nothing, doing mmo fetch quests, and all the dungeons so far have been copy pasted basically. key on left and right, go straight open the locked door and deal with the annoying CC'ing boss that webs, slows, freezes, fears, paralyzes you constantly. Control taken away from the player constantlyyyyy.
Oh but you have a warcry that dispels those CC's right? Yeah too bad the cooldown is 20 seconds. So many damn cooldowns.
Combat feels worse than D3 in general, floaty. I like the presentation of the story far better (for the most part) and the mood/atmosphere is cool and all. But damn it doesn't feel as tight as D3 did combat wise.
edit: switched to sorceress and it's a world apart from the barb. spells feel good, less floaty, better impact "feel" and you can just blast everything with chain lightning 3 screens away, teleport is 5 seconds less cooldown than Leap for some reason (make it make sense?). Looks like barb got the short end of the stick

Is there really no way to pause the game? What if you have to go somewhere quick, like if you got kids, or someone at your door? Just die and lose progress then?

old diablo, want to farm some bosses, start game, kill boss, make new game, try again
new diablo, log in, hope servers arent down, wait in queue, wait for world boss timer, hope u get matched with good players, waste time waiting, waste time not being able to kill him cause noobs in ur team , try again in two hours , then WAIT ONE WHOLE WEEK

Sorcerer seems to be very OP compared to Barbarian at these levels, it literally kills things like half more faster, i feel like im made from paper on barb and very slow damage, havent had good luck with items. Other than that, love how the combat has good animations and feedback, nice graphics aswell, UI looks on some parts bit off.

Drop texture quality one notch. There is an issue with HD textures filling up all vram and constant swaps.
My specs:
Ryzen 5950x @ boosting 5ghz, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master, 128gb G.Skill Trident Neo pc3600 ram, nVidia RTX 5080, SoundBlasterX G6, Samsung 980 Pro m.2 1TB and Hynix m.2 1TB storage SSD. Custom watercooling loop.
Derpsole: Nintendo Switch, Derpstation 5 Pro

VRAM consumption is not the only problem. With this game running, I reached 29gb of RAM used.

Me too. I love everything except the UI. I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite games of all time.

Yeah the UI seems to be designed for TV, atleast 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio fixes most of the issues tho, 16:9 for example looks very zoomed in camera wise and feels very crowded with the UI stuff.
