Biggest leak seems to be in PoE players pants, but yeah medium textures fixed all stuttering for me.

It's clear you don't want this game to be good or fun. Why are you still here trying to bring everyone down for every post you make?

How is that clear? Do tell... These fanboistic conclusions and attacks against criticism are quite pathetic.

I want this game to be good. Otherwise I would have spent quite a bit of money on something that I would dislike just to play with my far away friends. But aside of the production value, there wasn't much to be excited for in this beta. Or maybe you saw something that I didn't.

And how am I bringing everybody down? If you are brought down so easily on the internet over a handful of posts that didn't really target anybody (except blackeyedboy because he deserves it Cool Face). Then maybe there's a bigger issue at hand.

It's quite funny that you talk about how leftists are "snowflakes" about everything and here you are getting emotional over the criticism of a rather mediocre beta from a studio, who funnily enough, goes against your so called political principles.

Im liking it so far. I am actually pleasantly surprised.
Love the dark theme (even though I feel like I am watching a Hellraiser movie at times). Much better than the cartoony Diablo 3 imho.
I'll be looking forward to the full release.

I’m enjoying it as well. Much more than I did 3. The overall aesthetic is just better and while I don’t think the skill system is perfect, it’s worlds better than 3 was (IMHO). It does still feel a bit weird at times with how the MMO aspect comes into play. Not necessarily overjoyed with it but it may work out fine in the long term.

Biggest issue to me, besides the combat that needs to be tightened up and the trash UI, is the open world getting boring running around in. If you're gonna have a boring open world the dungeons better be good.. but they're just copy pasted too with very same-y layouts. Yeah you get a horse in the main game but if the world is so tedious to run around in that you need a horse, why even bother. Game just seems lazily made.

Also curious to see how seasons will be handled.. no one is gonna wanna do the story over again and mash escape after every cutscene. Maybe there will be an autoskip.

Need more of a camera zoom out and the level scaling is stupid. Otherwise, I had fun with it. Levelling seemed to take forever. And I even ended up running into the Butcher in one dungeon and that ended up being my first death. Seems a lot of people had a similar experience. But I later read he doesn't always appear. I went back to find him and he was gone.

I am looking forward to the Necro too dethy. Got to lvl 20 with the rogue but looking forward to having indentured servant skeles to do the killing for me lol

ee, leveling pace is totally fine, how fast do you want to level up lol. did u play on veteran (aka normal mode) or that regular one (aka very easy and pointless)? playing on 1st diff setting is totaly nonsense, dont do that, if ure not handicapped lol go for veteran - more gold and more exp.

as for level scaling - its fine, game is open, non linear (u can go do act 2-3-4 stuff instantly in full game) so it has to do some scalling and u actually "level up" your char through items and better build making, its not that level heavy as d1-d2. d3 wasnt too.

actually pretty good video for a change. looking back at that map it reminds me a little bit of...elden ring map lol. you can mostly go anywhere you want (yep even other "acts") and some parts are ment to be played on higher level, and scaling + char level/difficulty level explained pretty well

Maybe it's because I am used to D3. I went on veteran and it took hours each day until I finally reached 20 and cleared the Act 1 boss. It might have also been because I was playing Rogue. It's no Demon Hunter that's for sure as enemies weren't melting like they were with D3. I had heard people were doing better with the barb so maybe that's it.

Leveling is slower than D3 but that's not a bad thing.. seems doing the MMO side quests is more efficient than killing mobs.

youre just being new to the game systems, figuring it out and so on. for me rogue was literally melting all the monsters i`ve encountered.

Open beta starts tomorrow at 9am PDT and 12pm EDT. It runs until Monday at about the same time I think. They will have all classes available to play.

I will say I am really enjoying the progressive spell effects. An example, I believe stacks of chill then change the state to frozen. The target gets encased in ice for a couple of seconds and as you keep stacking on ice attacks, the ice appears to continue to build up around the target adding more ice chunks. It’s pretty cool, even if trivial.

The closed beta was not bad. The UI looked unfinished and some stuttering aside I enjoyed playing. The visuals were dark and fit the game theme well. However, gameplay did feel slower than in D3. Not sure if that is good or bad. Laughing

Will try co-op when the open beta starts tomorrow.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

i cant bilieve they actually spoiled a whole act , they could have just generated random open world shit to test their systems n servers without spoiling a whole act of the game Confused

in d3 they didnt have a choice cause shit wasnt rdy and there was no adventure mode yet i think, but here ... open worlds random generated stuff , easily a way to not spoil part of the campaign
