I feel like I am in some parallel universe, but I hated One Punch Man and felt like it was a single joke, that became old by the 2nd ep, stretched over a whole show.
It made me hate it even more seeing how popular it got and just not understanding the appeal at all, I guess its one of those things where taste wildly differs.
??? What anime, guess its chainsaw man from last page. i suggest holding off on that thought and give it 5 episodes. the manga is a solid one and the anime will probably break expectations as the story develops.
I wonder why no one mentions No Guns Life which is pretty good, not infantile or retarded. Chainsaw man for me balances on the line of retarded or rather emotionaly unstable characters.

I guess it's similar to how extremely popular square sponge bob was (and still is in pop culture) while I hate everything about that show and didn't find it even remotely funny, just very annoying.
Meanwhile I love One Punch Man (anime) for some reason. The first few episodes I DID ask myself "what am I watching?" but quickly got into the comedy style and became an OPM addict.
I dont know why but im looking so much forward to Urusei Yatsura, it really gave me a blast to the past to the dumb comedy that Ranma 1/2 had when i was a teen. More chapters damnit

One punch man season one is pretty awesome, second season sucks. Fuck all those other people, i want to see Seitama one shotting everyone.
It's a rare guilty pleasure after seeing so many shounen type series that never breaks from the mold. If you watch some shounen you will sometimes think "man, it would be awesome if our main guy smacked stars into the villains head in one hit" But it never happens. Always predictable long dragging fights, always.
That's why this is just awesome.
I also recommend giving Mob Psycho 100 a go. They are related in some way. Might not be for all, but it's pretty good

While i enjoy it, the forced sexual stuff is really fucking cringe. Protagonist is a step up from the doofus donkan, but he's a tard in his own way. I believe tard protagonist is a requirement to get a publication in Japan.

But yeah, it's yer common shonen trope of the dumbfuck who becomes a hero despite him/herself, which gets tiresome. Still, the story is worth it in the long run, it will surprise you

I don't know. I loved Batman and Superman when i was a kid, but teenager i wasn't like that. I was gaming wow and yeah, not cheering on retarded characters. Dunno if that's being mature for the age, but i certainly wasn't mature, just not this type of teen.

I finally watched Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and 2202. Wish I hadn't because it's a crappier and diluted space anime compared to 'Legend of the Galactic Heroes'. Watch the latter show instead if you don't want shitty romances that don't work, bad writing overall, numerous plot macguffins, so many problems... Both shows are focusing on somewhat different things but overall you can't help but laugh at how had Yamato is in all aspects.
Anyone watching Trigun Stampede? I enjoyed the original series even if quirky. Sure, it drug out some scenes (as a lot of anime tend to) but overall, a fun adventure at the time.
This new one seems to be much darker in tone overall. Only the first episode or so had any of Vash's upbeat vibes. This one he seems to have the same principle behind him, but is also overwhelmed with "bad" stuff happening.
I'm not certain as I didn't check, but it might be due to the expected length of the season why it is being rushed through like this. I kind of miss more of Vash's upbeat nature from the OG.
That said, I am still enjoying the series and it's different approach and some of the art and CGI is actually not too bad. Not the best by any means, but serviceable.

Yea Vinland Saga is very good, still have to start S02 but S01 was amazing.
A new anime I liked, atleast the first ep so far (which is 80+ minutes long) is Oshi no Ko.
Not gonna go into detail as the premise is kinda weird but let's say that this show isn't what it seems to be at the beginning, it's best not to read anything about it
