Not laughing though, since the same might happen to anyone who's doing this. After all we are breaking Steam's TOS. Just because they've been fairly lenient so far doesn't mean that will last.

Steam doesn't care until it does.
They won't catch every person using this method out of their tens of millions active users, but when they do you're fucked.
I think his biggest problem was using a VPN and a diego address, but only Steam knows what raised the flag

That's both unfortunate and  at the same time, but anything is better than a permanent ban so I'd definitely look at the glass half full (also considering that Diego's prices aren't what they used to be). Animo, compañero Konkol!

AAA's have mostly dropped regional pricing altogether (Valve's suggestion for RE4 3800ARS, not over 12000 ), AA's and indies still usually remain cheaper.
And some smaller devs have not updated their prices (bought v rising, core keeper and wolcen recently, all of them ~150 ars, 90% cheaper than pln price), neither did some bigger ones like Larian ( BG 3 is 2200 ars / 42 PLN. konkol would have to pay 199 pln now ). And even if they did it's usually the 1000-1500 ars price range, which is much more bearable now than 5 years ago, so not rocking the boat and staying in diego or kebabland is still preferable.
