$40 is discount
$60 was EGS price last time i checked.
anyway story is good, gameplay meh. if you ever played FF1, you should absolutely play this game.

Sorry my bad for the confusion. It's discounted at $40 launch, but for me I'll wait until a christmas sale or so since I'm still going through a bunch of games and I'm really more of a story first, gameplay second guy.

Problem with story first, gameplay second or third is this games gameplay is a complete headache. Menu nightmare and equipment confusion. Bosses who're apparently attacking your friends, but instead launching a nuke to melt your face. Just fantastic

Well its a looter game like Nioh, walk a few steps and fight a mob, then sort out shitloads of trash equipment.
Team Ninja has been trying to make a Souls game since the first Nioh, but while the combat is fine, they just really really suck at level design, so they try to divert player attention by throwing in endless trash.
"Whats that, the level design is putting you to sleep? But look at all this legendary shiny crap on the ground!"
Wo Long also has the same issue, the level design might be a tiny bit better than in previous Team Ninja games, but its still the same crap overall.

I think Nioh 1 at least had quite nice levels all in all. 2 also, but not the DLC's. Fuck the city
