Local shop in Finland sells it for 665€. The prices will drop below 600€ probably during this year. It's a solid option for gamers with 500-600€ budget. I would much rather pick new 4070 over used 3080 10G card, especially if 3080 is with no warranty, has been used for mining etc.

Every card has these days some form of coil whine, its buzzing, whining etc.. have not heard for ages card that is completely silent and i have had shitloads of GPUs. It is annoying, but seems manufacturers does not have control of the chokes, since they can vibrate internally aswell.

@Breezer_ I'd respectfully disagree.
This gen I have went thru a 7900xt 7900xtx, and now 4080 AERO. [Got 7900xt for son, 7900xtx for me, traded for 4080]
Not one of them had any coil whine.
The 4080 is possibly the quietest card I had had in a long time overall. unless I ramp the fans up manually they are off 60% of the time, and in games hit maybe 45% speed.
Is it I use it different? Do most people run fps uncapped and getting that 1000+ in menus? Only time I have ever heard coil whine for any card I had (personal subjective narrow data, admittedly). But unless I had all syncs forced off so it tried to do "ALL THE FRAMES!" in games where it made way more than my monitor could even use or wish to show, I never heard coil whine.

My Zotac 4090 AMP Extreme AERO have no coil whine at all.

My 6900XT coil whine disappeared completely when i added bykski waterblock to it and put thin thermal pad in the spot where chokes are, this made them squeeze between waterblock and pcb. Perhaps some cooler designs does this, not sure.

Could be it.
The heatsink on the AERO (at least mine) is the entire length of the card, and then some. 1/3 of its length is heatpipes and fins past the end of the board with a passthru fan.
The board itself is entirely covered with a heat plate or plates with heatpipes and thermal pads.
Looking down into it, there is not one spot I can see that is bare board and components unless I look from the side and see under the plates.

It is extremely personal opinion. Some of us can't hear it even if it happens to be very bad, where others can't stand it longer than a few minutes. The most important thing is that you can't hear it with your own ears. If someone says that ALL cards are whining then so be it.
