Nah, the original is still one of my all time favs, but the atmosphere is vastly improved in the remake so that it actually is a horror game now, in the original everything was too brightly lit.

why didnt you write about that specific issue(the game lacking details/atmosphere) before that video was posted and crap on the remake.let me guess because you didnt even notice.

what does soul or soulless even entail? it's a abstract word like "cinematic".
There is something called art direction and if you dare to critisize the remake for not being as atmospheric then critisize the original re4 as well since broken lighting in a survival HORROR game should be important.

yeah lets wait another 9 years like with the first resident evi 4 (2005) ->(2014) and maybe the remake of the remake will feature all the things you asked for.

At least the youtuber had a reason to shit talk a fine remake (money/clickbait)
