I think the issue is that you can lessen the stutter problems, but not remove them. Doesn't calisto still have some stutters after all these patches? Every damn unreal engine game has the very same problems.
Nvidia rubbing hands together, TI and 5xxx series derp sales galore. It's like they trying emulate consoles on PC. Big savings if you don't have to have to do anything specific for the PC port.
Dead Island 2 seems to run flawlessly, everyone praised its visuals and performance on every platform. You can make the engine sing, there are games either working well or fixed after. Tiny Tina i played at launch, also unreal engine, that game's most shocking aspect to me was how unbelievably smooth it was. Zero hickups. But they need better engineers for this.
But this game's biggest issue seems to be the cpu usage, thats the reason for the low performance. Thats gonna take a while. Last of Us after the latest patch it seems runs well on 8 gig cards now, the medium textures dont look like ps2 games anymore.
edit: of course it has negative mouse acceleration
Runs fine for me. All max settings (NO RT), 5120x1440.
RTX 4090, 13900K. Around 85-90 fps in gameplay. Its not perfect though, occasional stuttering. But nowhere near as bad as everyone said.
• no toggle walk on PC (M&Kb)
• mouse acceleration (negative) that can't be turned off
• performance is pure shite
• can't use mouse on some menus
• "A controller is required for a better experience"
• fuck you
• and your sister
• I am glad I didn't buy this
the way they designed the menus is mind numbing. You need to use a mix of mouse and keyboard to navigate and change settings. You click on an option, then use AD to change values then use enter to apply them ? What ? Did nobody at Respawn play a single pc game ever ?
Why does it say controller recommended at the start ? Why is a tool that's worse and can do less than a keyboard/mouse combo, recommended ?
Welp, the sponsorship went to management pockets and not into development machines
"We bought dev machines last year, ain't gonna change them now, what's the difference, you just press build -> copy files -> ship, e.z. What's an optimization?"

This is a console game.®
More first impressions:
• environment is sterile/ empty as fuck
• can't destroy anything with your lightsaber
• can't interact with anything in the environment
• exploration is quite shallow (only cosmetic / useless crap)
• combat as a PC game is semi-shite like Souls game
• you don't attack in the direction of the camera / mouse like in ANY FUCKING NORMAL PC GAME
• it's a console game
• it's a console game

I haven't played this game, but I've watched combat bits from a few gameplay videos and the first thing that came to my mind was "uggghh, this surely isn't Dark Souls". Looked so shallow, spammy and clumsy.
hey moron i was talking about old god of war games, last gow game are reboots, is this jedi survivor like a reboot? no wonder ur a moron..

I expect a game that improves on itself / it's previous iterations. Just like we, as persons, should improve 'ourselves' continuously.
But I can see clearly that you can't understand that.
i understand wat ur saying, but bear in mind this game is supposed to appeal to a larger audience than ur dark soul refined combat...so maybe some clumsy parts are by design
I can see your soul at the edges of your eyes..

No matter what quality preset I choose the max fps is always 60. The only thing changing is the GPU usage. It hovers at around 40-50% on the lowest setting and 98-99% on epic. Is it hardcapped to 60 or is there a setting (which I didn't find) that disables this cap?
Apparently day 1 patch lowered the VRAM usage by half at least, can't test it myself since I'm not supporting these retarded devs anymore with their shit ports.
So...
amd cpu + 4090 = low framerate, stuttering, etc
intel cpu + 4090 = game runs ok
And on an AMD sponsored game. I hope this is confirmed, because if so then it's fucking hilarious
Where is this information coming, that it runs better on intel CPU?
OrignalSpaceJockey has intel + 4090, the video posted up there with issues was a 7800X3D (or whatever) + a 4090, mutacuck on utub was also bitching and he rocks a 7900X + a 4090.
But yeah, that is a small number of samples to draw proper conclusions.
I really, really hope it's accurate though

Ah "runs fine for me", like my friend said once back in the day when original Hitman 2 was around that it runs flawlessly, it was like 15fps.
