Well played it the first 30 minutes. Steady frames with very minor drops. Still glitchy on the Ryujinx. My wired xbox360 controller seems to have a lot of wander??

Why would "LINK" follow "ZELDA" oh right anything for the pussy!
Now look at the trouble he is in. Adam and Eve story all over again.
I will wait for YUZU to be able to boot this.
Hahahahaha

I was digging the almost LOTR vibe it gave off, and then zelda pics up a camera Rolling Eyes yes i know it's part of the lore now, but it just comes off as rather lazy attempts to introduce new things to do instead of being more creative and doing something which wouldn't necessarily break immersion and stay within the Fantasy realm.

I just hate the "it's gonna be a mix of everything, because that's unique!" feeling in games, because again, i think it just comes off as lazy and not unique at all.

Running fine on my V1 switch. I suspect a day 1 patch will help too.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Launches on YUZU now. There is a fix
Look for a rar file called ToTK_Yuzu_Fix unrar and put folder in proper place. It takes a bit to load but it works OpenGL runs best for now.

Nothing about this muddy and gooey looking nonsense is fine Laughing It's completely atrocious how bad it looks on a 65" using the switch

lol ok so I don't think it looks that bad given it's running on a 4 year old phone. That said, I have noticed some stutter when using the special abilities. Hopefully that's fixed in a patch.

The legend of open-world Ubisoft clone with Zelda IP. It sucks so much when you love a formula and it's gets buried out back to become like 1000 other games you could play. Oh well still got all the older games.

There's like 4x genre's of gameplay left in AAA.. every game is the same now with it's iconic tunes and skins.

Open world casual button mash or dark souls inspired open world button mash.
Nu-tombraider reskinned with another IP.
Budget AAA 4x player coop game.
Massive corporate multiplayer game, that fails and gets deleted or succeeds.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I've played several Ubisoft games, several of their clones and almost all mainline Zelda games. In my opinion, Breath of the Wild was the most fascinating open world game I ever played. It took ~70 hours until the mechanics and puzzles stopped surprising me.

Some weird thing with the YUZU. All my Zelda Tears of the Kingdom saves are dated 1/1/1970
Never seen that before. Wonder if it is because the leaked version needs a patch?

In checkpoint it shows the hour count as the BOTW hour count. No idea why but I was surprised to learn my son had already put 300 hours into TOTK Very Happy

I had this issue before updating my NSW to 16.0.2. It's a Yuzu issue.

i dont mean leaked, i mean user reviews, though people obviously might need to be careful saying they're playing the pirated version so those reviews would be pretty "unofficial" and likely hidden away from the general public...

Yep, japcrap devs didn't seem to take even one piece of feedback. Just remade the same game with another world. They need a decent slap

yeah that much is obvious, would be cool with something more in-depth though.

I think the big Nintendo games are usually quite creative and often brings something new to the table which becomes a standard for the genre. So far this looks a bit disappointing to me in that regard, but i don't know. Yes you can build stuff, looks similar to the LEGO games, so not really something new.

Thats a blatant lie! Durability can now be extended Laughing

@vurt just check out botw then in the meantime. Its one of those games you either love or hate

They added a new layer of mechanics/puzzles/abilities (some of which look pretty fun, if I cared for it) and the world seems to be a little more lively, but most of the core game mechanics and feel remain the same underneath. Smile

Sounds good. BotW main problem was that it did feel a bit dead, it did have some very memorable locations though.. i hope this one has many biomes, like a green forest, swamp, desert etc.

The 1.1.0 update is indeed a magic patch : I instantly noticed it myself in handheld mode at least with less dynamic resolution change when the movement was still, and better performances overall (doing a 360 would slow down on my save, not anymore).
On a real console, not emulator, that is.
Not saying the game is now a technical marvel, but I suggest you install the update.

Love this game. "here, you need this super specific effect here and there are super limited items for you to work with. But you need to cook and combine. Now lets see how you can fuck up almost every item and end up with nothing and fail, have fun!"

Too old for this creative kiddie shit. If only there was more to work with. Damn stamina bulbs....

ah so 1.1.0 uses FSR.
Now I understand why the patch was indeed magic to my eyes ! I wasn't making things up!

Inb4 12/10 best gaem ever!

While as a non zelda game it would be a decent open world game indeed. As a Zelda game it's still a soulless husk, same as botw. Now the biggest offender though is that it's basically a copy of botw. Feels like you're playing the same game with some additional features
