Sorry to hear that. Liver cancer is unfortunately really aggressive.

I don't believe in miracles, so I hope paliative care will let you spend your remaining days in peace and dignity.

Ah fuck. This hits hard.
Even though we didn't get the opportunity to talk together all that much over the last few years, you've always been a staple of this forum long before I even dared to write my first post..
Go burn that life to its fullest in a blaze, no regrets and no brakes either ! (Don't take pax's advice though, eh Laughing He's just trying to lure you Razz)

Yeah LEGOs are damn awesome, the "Ideas" line had got some very nice looking sets.

I'll chime in too when I get home, it's the very least we can do

Yes..I want everyone on here to live forever, never get sick, and always be happy Sad

Being here 20 years (man...2003, time fucking flies) everyone here is like family. Well more than family, I avoid most my family (southern redneck gossip drama queens drains my social gastank quick) Very Happy But you know what I mean. Ive talked to you guys over the 20 years WAY more than I've talked to some friends in that same time. And since you all are like family, you dont have to always agree with family, to care about them.

Your new update on your status Spykes makes me angry. Life is so unfair for no reason to people that dont deserve it....first thing I thought of was this for how I feel for you..dunno why but it popped in my head:

-We don't control what happens to us in life, but we control how we respond to what happens in life.
-Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times. -G. Michael Hopf

I mean it is surprising when most of us are getting up in the years (while pretending not to) that this is the first time it's happened. At least publicly.

Yea. Getting old enough coming to the realization of the gravity of the saying "Life is short" hits you like a brick wall sometimes. Ages 10-20 feels as long as 20-40 took. When you are 10, 60 feels like centuries away, you cannot even fathom how far away it seems. Then around 40 you are "fuck, I'm at least 1/2 done, if I'm lucky? It felt like no time at all"

And Seeing people you know start dying and asking less and less "OMG what happened?" inquiring what sort of freak accident must have took them, is sobering.

Its sobering but do take care to have a network of people if you notice it yourself. that people don't care anymore that is. Support when times are hard is important
