Such a weird season. Bayern board completely lost it and sacking Julian made 0 sense. Hopefully will bounce back with some good signings (not like Mané) and football next season.
Happy for Reus. Finally, he gets to lift the Meisterschale before retiring.

Yup. The whole thing has been bizarre to say the least, with penalties made up on the spot since officially there's no law against what the club did - which is also what every other club regularly does or has done at least once in their lifetime. Just to give you an idea of the amateurishness of it, in order to prove Juve's capital gains the judges brought up Transfermarkt's values, go figure.
I don't want to justify Paratici & co. because they've been recklessly inept since day one, but it definitely feels like this is FIGC's personal punishment for the Superleague fiasco more than anything else. There's going to be another pseudo-trial as well involving the delayed salaries during Covid, so expect more deducted points. And since the owners don't really care about any of this (same owners as Ferrari, which does explain a lot  ) there won't be any opposition either.
And then there's the fact that the team is filled with inadequate players, has been playing abysmal football for years and is sticking to a manager who has completely lost the plot, but that's another story  |
