Im actually quite shocked she has no kind of crypto fund for suggested games to make the $500 im a super tight arsehole when it comes to buying software but would be happy to throw 50p/£1 in said pot and id imagine there would be at the very least thousands of others willing.

if you were paying her and in turn gained access to her server downloading then it would be illegal (but mostly on _her_ part if you live in the EU as garus explained, only if you were torrenting it from her private tracker or sth and thus distributing it you would be acting illegally as well)
but as it is you're not sending money to Putin ... just a matter of sending money to some obscure crazy person on the internet , nothing illegal about it...
