My friends, playing for hundreds of hours a videogame that you don't like, means that something is... you know... NOT OK?!
You are either insincere (you actually have some kind of fun), addicted to something (routine or some psychological hurt) or really unaware of some issues (mental).
Because you like certain aspects of it, be it the social interaction, certain dungeons/raids, there are things to like in them and work towards. But what I'm saying is that most of the time spent in those games isn't quality gameplay. So a game having hundreds of hours of bs to fill with isn't a good thing.
Plus, most of my time spent on that was when I was younger. These days I hate the very idea of never-ending content. give me a good 10-20 hour game with a satisfying end. That is all I want, but we're going toward more and more "live-service" bs and neverending bs.
I hope they fix the balance of this game.
I had problems playing a druid in tier 2. The mini boss after that possesed mother was insane, felt like a diablo 3 hard difficulty final act boss.
Also tried a rogue: I could just soak up al the damage and left click to kill that boss in an instant.
Since the fixes compared to beta were so minimal, I doubt the final release will be much better.

Like I said: who is the one that does that? You are. You are choosing your 'poison', not someone else.
You can't say: I played 100 hours in 'Density' 2 and it sucked. Because you are positioning yourself in a very doubtful position. Why did you need 100 hours to say that? What's wrong with you? Etc.

You're not understanding what I'm saying. The fact of the matter is, that there is no game with hundreds of hours of gameplay where this isn't true. Most of it is diluted, padded garbage and this applies to Diablo IV as well.
I'm sure all Ubisoft games are top notch high quality bang for the buck since they all have over 100 hours of padded content filled with pointless grinding and checklist crap.
I hope they fix the balance of this game.

balacing is pointless. in full game u will have access to whole world, skills, items, class mechanics and so on. also its like 90% singleplayer rpg, who needs class balance lol. everyone on scene is blabbing about this build and that build AFTER playing literally like 10% of the game.

I have hundreds, maybe thousands of hours in WoW and I definitely do not love the game, it is top3 most played game in terms of game-time, but I don't think it would even make top 300 games if I ranked them in terms of fun/enjoyment.
Same for BDO, lots of hours, little actual enjoyment.
if you put "thousands" of hours into VIDEO GAME you DONT ENJOY i dont even know whats there to said, maybe youre masochism or you dont have anything to do in your life lol.
most of the time ive put in quakes 2-3, starcrafts 1-2 and diablo 1-2 and I can easily say they are some of my fav games. playing diablo 1 is so embeded in my core memories it might be definitely in my top5 games.

You saying it's "garbage" it's totally subjective. If you fail to understand than, there is no point in this dialogue. Alternatively, the "problem" might be in the way we initiated the dialogue.
As an example, I have 500+ hours in RDR2 and it's been a blast. Offline and online. So, what are we talking about here?
I also don't regret my time in WoW, GW2 and other massive games. Yes, there might be some grinding / farming and some shit stuff, but OVERALL, it's been worth it for the games I CHOSE to play over 100+ hours.

100+ hours games for you mean Ubisoft only? You sure have a limited view on the culture of videogames...
Ever heard of Terraria, Battlefield, Counter Strike, cRPGs, ARPGs etc.?

Or...we like spending time with friends doing things they like and not only things we want, because we enjoy the time with them? Could ask me go fishing (I hate fishing) and Id go if we'd enjoy the company. The fishing would be 0% of the enjoyment. Being with them as they enjoy a thing they like is 100% of it.
There is two types of games for me: Those I enjoy with or without people. And those I only enjoy as a medium to gather friends and people that I would not even install for free if it was up to me to play them solo.
Like I said with LoL as an example. I do not like a single thing about it. I have played 0 games by myself in it, and would not play it if it was the only game I had installed with no other choices. But my son did enjoy it and I enjoyed time with him for 100s of hours watching him enjoy doing it with his dad.

Yea. there is a very very niche style of game I enjoy regardless if people are with me. and most of them are single player unless mods are added management/simulation/builder/etc types.
But have 'enjoyed' some Shitty MMO's too. I've played waaaaay too many of them to count since asheron's call. And I enjoyed some of them in the same way people enjoy candy crush in the airport. It's better than doing nothing, which is the only other option I have sometimes: Play an MMO solo that is grindy we are all playing currently, by myself, so I can advance and help them later, or take a nap or watch TV. And not in the mood for TV and not tired for a nap.
Either way I was just making a point you can have 100's of hours in a game, and still think its not worth the price they charge. Hell you can feel it's barely worth the disk space to have it installed.

That's a bit more clear of a point.
But...
I NEVER had those thoughts about a game after playing 100+ hours.
I have those thoughts on some games they all want to team up in. Not all but about 1/2 of them.
To me it's the same as working in the garage making things for a friend that is a PITA but they want it: Its hot out here, I'm tired, I enjoy woodworking (IE games here) but this is a pain in the ass and won't miss working on it when I am done. But it's worth the enjoyment they will get from it from me doing it for them.

But... not everyone spends their time gaming alongside friends. Many people play their games alone. And that's when the quality of the game (our subject) is really relevant.
Sounds like we're experiencing games from really different perspectives.
I hope they fix the balance of this game.

Balance isn't pointless. You should just play any class you want and and each class should have a couple of bulds that are viable so you can play something that feels good for you. Now Druid is unplayable and most classes only have 1 good build. And the differences are huge, like meta classes being 3-4 times stronger. Some builds are so weak it's hard to just kill normal mobs in tier 2.
It's even worse though cause the balance shifts towards endgame. Druid and barb are actually good there, while the mobility/AOE builds suck. So regardless your class/build, you will be frustrated at some point in the game.
And this will not be fixed at release given the minor changes Blizzard has made after open beta.
Got a nvidia key for 45 bucks on reddit, it's aight
gg i'll get me one later, the issue will be activating it since u can only activate 1 diablo code on one card
someone was selling for amazon gift card for $35 and he said will get more later on, maybe i find a good deal and already activated one, that'd be dope.
this comment so expected... that's what i thought too but difference here is that i only got interested in it now after this beta and we know how it actually plays, it's no fake shit, so u get what u see.
it was fucking great, honestly i dont have any complains, i forgot about my worries regarding the tone of the game, atmosphere and so on. also speed they introduce changes, even server side fixes (they can change game balance stuff without even putting patch online), performance, sever stability, gameplay and so on - its all great.
and that fucking promotion with rtx card couldnt been better, i`ve waited out that gfx price craziness so its perfect moment, replaced my old radeon for new rtx and got diablo "for free" lol.
taking 2 weeks off for the release and im gone playing it like madman
