anyone who's played stalker knows that, it's not much of a throwback since it looks nothing like it does in the original. would have been super easy to do, but i guess it's some brand that already exists, so it's 90% ad, 10% throwback.
i played whole stalker 1 and didnt know that, fuck that. anyway no one is talking that game looks waaay worse that in 1st bullshit trailer lol. actually it now looks like totally nothing special, if someone said it was from some metro game from x years ago i would believe it, but it will probably require rtx 4xxx card to run properly lol

yeah, the graphics is very mediocre. this will feel outdated fast while stalker (modded) still looks pretty good considering that game was released in 2007! sure, maybe modders will do miracles here too, who knows.

i played it at release and honestly i dont remember that "mechanic" at all lol, it wasnt that emphasized, its not campfire songs on guitar or throwing bolts in air lol.
and yeah, gfx at this clip just look bland and "okey-ish" lets say, medicore. definitely nothing mind blowing, terrain looks meh.
You only played Stalker once ? At release even. You should remedy that quickly
i rarely play games more than once, its either totally once or x amount of times, stalker isnt the stuff i would like to play x times, when theres ton of shit already competing for my time lol. i have great memories of it but yeah, its not stuff for multiple playthroughs for me.
checked stalker 2023 mods and it looks great, but i MAYBE would check if it was in single package to download, literally cant be bothered with installing tons of shit for a day, spending x hours figuring why something doesnt work or be blocked by game breaking bug in the middle of the game lol
thx, might check it. just watched on yt some 2023 modded stalker, had pretty great snow, trees swaying and so on - does it have some stuff like that? checked the screens and faq/features but didnt see anything similar
This one is more with a rusty, soviet autumn flavour. Its an older mod, but its very professionally made, very stable and it feels really nice to play. A lot of these other mods have this fetish with making every single thing in stalker as hard as possible, and resources as few as possible. The moding comunity generally has this fetish with extreme difficulty. This mod here is a more balanced one, but still harder than vanilla
It appears that two dev builds of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl have been leaked online. According to the logs, each of these dev builds is around 190GB in size, and they are most likely playable.
Pretty rough but environment and models look good. I wouldn't expect anything anytime soon given the current circumstances of where they're at. It's understandably... tough to get much done.
