Please someone tell me this doesn't have (negative) mouse acceleration and there's a raw mouse option in it!
Still haven't got time to install / play it so far.

Nope. it has some pretty fine ass acceleration. And it seems to run worse at higher framerates. I capped the fps at 80 and the camera actually moves faster and smoother than it does at 100 or more.
It's one of the more bearable inputs though, it's not in the unplayable or highly annoying category, but its there. But its the same with pads as well, i keep seeing people on xbox sayiing how heavy the camera feels and stuff like that

The yellow things on the bottom right are quinces. They are really only usable with a ton of sugar as a jelly.
The things on the top left seem to be pomegranates.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

well well well what do we have here - oranges and watermelons.
However, let's say a few correct facts about these two fruits. Apparently, the game developers were not very interested in the history of some fruits (such as watermelon can be counted as both a fruit and a vegetable).
First: Oranges came and were transported to Europe by sea from India in the 15th century.
The action of the game, as far as it is understood at the beginning, takes place in the year 1349, which is purely the 14th century
And some information about watermelon:
From Africa, watermelon crossed to Europe (Moors brought it in the 10th century) where it grew successfully
in the warmer parts of Mediterranean. By the 7th century, it reached India and from there China which saw its
first watermelons in the 10th century. Today, China is the world's largest producer of watermelons.
Rest of Europe didn't state growing watermelons until the 17th century
when they were widely accepted as a minor garden crop. |

-No puzzles in this (or only a few)
-After the 8-9th chapter its just cutscenes with little interaction (some forced ambush scenes where you are forced to kill x people)

What an excellent fucking game. It is 10/10 for me but I am inclinded to give it 9/10 after Chapter 9-10, it just became like QTE. There was really nothing to do except cut-scene and press Y.
Story and gameplay was so fucking great.

finished too, was great but not more than the first game, pacing was off and could have shaved some hours as its too long so that led to many repetitive gameplay moments, they also went kinda went overboard with amicia though, like she had tunnel vision or something, they changed her hair a bit too and made her like a butch. too many crates, really great looking game. great score, fitting ending

The story is so cringy and over the top in this one. The stealth is such a drag and the gameplay is as rigid as before. I'm glad I upgraded my crossbow so I can kill anybody in sight and pretty much skip over tediously designed sections.

I had no plans to play Amicia & Hugo Perpetually Running Away from Things 2 right now but the introduction of the framerate-boosting FSR Stupefacio actually made the game playable for my potato (sort of), so I snagged the ISOdemo and finished the ride anyway. It was..the very definition of more of the same, with all its strengths (solid presentation/writing) and weaknesses (limited gameplay loop/repetitiveness).
There were sections that dragged for way longer than necessary, but it's a sub-genre that has an unhealthy fetish for making things as artificially guided as possible, so the cinescripts are par for the course. Still, trimming down some of the fat wouldn't have been a bad idea. The W-powered adventure however has its moments and the art direction once again forms a remarkable combo with the orchestral music. Although I didn't find the story as engrossing as Innocence, its conclusion was adequate. /10

Finished it a few days ago, this is definitely one of those games you play in a relaxed state for the story, as the auto aim and simple gameplay doesn't really push you to sweat. For its strong points, the presentation and story it does a great job. The open section halfway through the game with optional puzzle and exploration was cool. The scripted set pieces with the rats can easily exchange blows with naughty dog which I think is what this team is aiming to compete with.
Overall an enjoyable experience with amazing sights if you don't expect it to be a doom game.

Played this for a couple of hours but...
1. It feels... not as engaging / gripping as the 1st one.
2. There are long walking segments where you can't interact with the environment / can't do anything than move from point A to point B.
3. Mouse feels off, with some sort of acceleration and a weird form of wall / environment collision on.
4. Despite the 60+ framerate everywhere, it feels sluggish, like playing at 30 FPS.
I think I know why - fundamentally - is not the same as the first one, though:
IT'S NOT A STELT GAEM ANYMORE. They turned Amicia into a rampaging mass murderer.

This game is basically that scene from Shadow of the Tomb Raider where Lara emerges from the water with flames behind her and stabs a guy to death with zero fucks given because she's had enough of this shit.
It's a bit like working retail for a long time.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Absolutely shit stealth.
Absolutely shit checkpoint systems.
(1) Got caught while experimenting / exploring the level, (2) reloaded checkpoint and (3) game spawned me right in front of 2 guards coming exactly towards me (while before loading they had OTHER positions in the level, standing still and NOT patrolling) and now game is fucked...

Played the first and second game back to back. As has been written in this thread, the gameplay is rather lackluster. First game is borderline a walking-sim, second game gives some more variety but is still super linear and doesn't make use of their own systems.
Like the "rat-view" is used in maybe 2 maps, apart from that it doesn't serve any purpose. Second game has even less alchemy to use, but even then I think I used some of these like 2-3 times in the whole game. And while the second is also rather easy, it did have one or two weird difficulty spikes.
That being said, they were really enjoyable story-driven experiences to me. I liked the story a lot and the ending is also fitting.
The real superstar here are the environments, though. Even in the first game, which is technically lacking at this point, the environments are a marvel and I could wander around in them forever. Second one is still technically top of the line and the maps are even prettier. For me just walking through the maps was worth playing through them.
