Personally i find it quite average so far. It's fun and all that, but nothing to lose your shit over. And why is there no dedicated button for ultimates? You're limited enough as is.

I'm having fun with it, didnt have that much time to play it these days though so not max lvl yet, remains to be seen how it is at endgame.
Visually it's amazing, loving the look of everything, HDR is great as well. Also performance is smooth as butter, gpu falling asleep at 144 fps, need that RT patch. Even with DLAA (not DLSS) and framegen off that is.
About the launch, unexpected is all i can say. Getting in a game in 1 second, no queues, no crashes, no lag. Wouldnt even think it's online really, if not for the other players.

Laptop : I5 4200H @ 3400mhz boost, GTX 850m 2gb Vram DDR3, 4gb RAM DDR3

GPU is like 50% at 4K120hz aswell, got 4090, love how smooth it runs, not a single stutter anywhere.

This game is fucking shit. be level 28 and find a level 28 stronghold. Be unfortunate and level during this stronghold. Stronghold is now level 31 and wipes your ass when you're like 3/4 done.

Just 1 more button option would have been great. It is also a bit annoying that they lock getting your horse till so far into the story, but I guess they really do not want people to open up the full map so quickly.

Stutters for 5-10 seconds every time I teleport into a town here, but at all other times framerate is silky smooth and no stutters.

fuck, the feeling and flow of combat is great in d4, they nailed it. did some subquests and caught myself runing arround in open world, zapping pack of mobs to the oblivion with electricity in the snow, tho melee classes have even better feel lol

Get gut, it should not be a problem.
Personally I liked the fact that some strongholds offer content at another level during campaign.

dunno how people cant get it, its hns game and without level scaling it would have same stituation as d2 = theres literally nothing to do in the 90% of the game at high level. also mobs scale to your general level, not to your overall power that comes from items, and you can clean the floor with mobs then youre geared good, those games are always about the gear, tho with good build and proper micro you can easily destroy mobs in higher levels, i actually enjoy mobs in strongholds due to that fact, brings another level of challange.
also just switch to world tier I, theres option for that for a reason.

And yea, actually they buffed the HP of mobs in Veteran, compared to BETAs.
Sometimes it feels a bit annoying and time wasting. It's not a challenge, it's just shitty. As always with this kind of game. 
But hey... it's 'A' thing I don't like compared to OTHERS that I DO like...

i dont feel like they buffed anything. u forgot beta had limited lvl and full game doesnt. in beta you keept mobs at 25 while getting better gear and upgrading your items = buffing your overall "power level" (not char level itself) while mobs stayed the same, thats why i was laughing at those beta build and class predicitons in literally 10% of game.
its funny cuz people complained about level scaling (its very well done and planned), now game is to hard and everyone on the scene suggests WT1 lol. im playing in wt2 constantly cuz i dont wanna breeze throught it. optimize build, upgrade items, also most of people forget about survability aspect of the build. killspeed/dmg doesnt really matter when you die easily
utilize class mechanics and tricks, utilize specific powers from dungeons accoring to your build, microplay better, game has double dodge and tons of other class specific mechanics for a reason. few quick changes and switches and attack power bumps 100+ while shitload of passives becomes active in specific sitiations, making everything smoother

No, man, that was just a 'sucks for you' moment, sorry.
Still... at lvl 34, I slowly find WT2 annoying:
• takes way too long to kill some mobs for someone interested more in the lore / story / atmosphere / campaign
• gear upgrade is pure shite, I am lvl 34 and have drops lvl 23
• bosses drop absolute crap
• I don't see ANY worthy rewards for wasting more time killing mobs on WT2
• I find worthy upgrades only once every 3-4 levels
• found only 1 legendary so far
• as with all Blizz games, after some hours of pressing the same 4 buttons, fatigue starts in creep in
• spent all my money on respecs / upgrades / aspects / jewelry (personal experimentation / icyveins lurking included)
Why do I still play:
+ excellent atmosphere
+ superb graphics / art style
+ dark world
+ interesting story
+ some other shit prob.

On WT2 also. It's like that. You'll slowly start doing shit damage until you find some perfect loot which brings you back into the game. Its a tug and pull war throughout the game it seems. I'll probably be done with this game when i'm done with th story. Can't be arsed with this dynamic loot crap and ever scaling difficulty anymore.
